ColourPop More, Please Super Shock Cheek
ColourPop More, Please Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “vivid fuchsia with a violet-blue duochrome in a pearlized finish.” It’s a bright, fuchsia magenta with cool, blue undertones and silver and violet pearl. ColourPop Pie (P, $8.00) is more matte. ColourPop Homie (P, $8.00) is purpler, matte. ColourPop Pegacorn (P, $8.00) is less shimmery, more muted. ColourPop Fantasy (P, $5.00) is more shimmery, purpler. ColourPop Slave2Pink (P, $5.00) is more shimmery. Make Up For Ever S852 Neon Pink (P, $21.00) is cooler-toned, matte. Too Faced Monaco (P, $16.00) is similar. Urban Decay Jilted (P) is purpler. Sugarpill Smitten (LE, $13.00) is cooler-toned. Fyrinnae Superstar (P, $6.80) is more shimmery. The Super Shock Cheek formula is a cream-based blush that will have the most intense pigmentation when applied with fingertips and lesser, more buildable coverage when used with a brush (the more feathery or less dense the brush, the sheerer the coverage). A little goes a ridiculously long way when it comes to this shade, as it is intensely pigmented: a mere pat of the fingertip on the surface is enough for semi-sheer coverage. The shimmer is a lot more visible on the skin than it has been in other shimmery blushes I’ve seen from ColourPop, so it’s nice to see the finish actually show up on the skin. It had a wetter, more emollient and cream-like consistency compared to other Super Shock Cheek shades I’ve tried, which made it easier to apply and very, very blendable on the skin, but it didn’t slide all over the place. This shade wore well for almost ten hours on me.
P.S. — ColourPop just tweeted that they’re doing a 24-hour flash sale on their foursomes (now $16, regularly $20) and the Not a Box of Chocolates (now $24, regularly $30).

Oh my, I absolutely LOVE this on you! Definitely will be on my buy list. 🙂
Thanks, Shannon!
Good shade to try. Also good price. And made in USA too….promoting the US economy.
It really hits all the right notes – affordable, local, interesting, high-performing.
Love the blush and that Melon Pop lipstick is so pretty on you ! Christine, do you have any preference between the 2 blush formulas -Clinique Pop Cheeks and ColourPop Supershock? Blushes tend to fade on me. I know both are long lasting, but do you think one generally lasts longer than the other ?
ColourPop’s lasts longer for sure. I personally prefer Clinique’s if I had to pick between the two, but I like the colors and finishes of Clinique’s a lot!
Thanks! Then I’m favoring ColourPop, but since each brand has different colors, I’ll probably end up buying some from Clinique as well. Resistance is futile!!
Wow! That looks stunning on you! I haven’t tried any of their cheek colors yet, but I may have to the next go around!
Thank you, Carrie!
Nice! I love the sparkly finish.
Me too!
Oh baby..this is cool. Probably too much for an older gal like me. But, I want it and Homie anyway from this post right now! Man, being on low- buy is tough! Ugh…I wish colourpop was in stores where you could try it out because I’m starting to want everything they make!
That would be awesome if they were in a retailer so you could try them!
Dang, that’s a pretty blush! I’m not sure I’d wear it but I’m so tempted to try it!
It is so pretty!!
This colour is so intense, I love how it looks on you though, you have just the right skin tone for a colour like this
Thanks, Maiko!
I really need to try some of their blushes… I am considering getting the new “In Bloom” set. The packaging is just so pretty! I almost took advantage of the flash sale today, but I realized I already have three of the featured collections: Not a Box of Chocolates, Megan Naik, and Queen for a Day. I decided to wait to see if they have a special on blushes or lippie sticks at some point! 🙂
Hope they do!
I ordered this the day it launched and I was so hesitant but so happy to see that it performed so well and it looks so amazing on you. We have a similar skin and eye color so I always go by your reviews. Yay!!! So happy!!! Now will you be reviewing their pastel punch lippies and the InBloom set?!
Can’t wait for you to get your set, Lunasol! 🙂
This is a lovely colour. Really pretty.
I love how intense it is!
What a stunner!
Agreed!
This is like the season of BLUSHES I NEED!! Clinique and ColourPop are killing it! I went to buy some shadows from ColourPop’s website (they’re having a flash sale) and ended up with only blushes in my cart. 😐 I threw Rain into my cart before I even realized it was a PURPLE BLUSH! I’ve been looking for a good purple blush forever!! I don’t know why but I’ve just had this need for one, there’s a hole in my collection and ColourPop’s Rain will fill it. This looks great on you!
Here’s hoping Rain is the purple blush you’ve been dreaming of, Allison! 🙂
Love the Spring collection by Colourpop!! The blush looks gorgeous on you!
I love it, I’m waiting for reviews of the other blushes from the collection,
Olive and Rain before I order them. I hope you will review them too!
Their spring collection is huge!
Love this!!
Yay!
There it is! The long lost dupe for my beloved (and D/C) Lancome ‘Pink Pool’ blush! (And don’t try to tell me that the replacement, ‘Shimmer Pink Pool’ is the same. Adding ‘shimmer’ shouldn’t lighten the blush by 2 shades.
Woohoo!
