ColourPop La Jolla & Solana So Glassy Lipglosses Reviews & Swatches
La Jolla
ColourPop La Jolla So Glassy Lip Gloss ($8.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a pale, pinky-peach with a milkier, cream finish, which made it particularly prone to getting into my lip lines and looking a bit streaky.
- Semi-sheer color coverage, not buildable
- Light-medium in thickness, mostly non-sticky, extra shiny
- Spreadable, comfortable to wear, prone to settling into lip lines
- Long-wearing (4 to 5 hours is typical), lightly hydrating

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.2 oz. - $40.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have an "ultra-glassy" finish that is "super comfy" to wear. The coverage was designed to be sheerer and packed with "prismatic pearls." They were smooth, comfortable to wear, and easy to apply as they weren't prone to settling into lip lines as much as most glosses.
The texture was lightly tacky and thicker than most of the brand's glosses, but they did deliver on the "ultra-glassy" shine. I couldn't feel the sparkles/shimmers when I pressed my lips together. The formula lasted four to five hours and was hydrating on me. They had a faint, vanilla-ish scent.

With both seeming just a little too pigmented for such light shades, these get an easy hard pass from me.
I agree with Nancy – these do look a little under pigmented, but at least they rated reasonably well.
