It had medium coverage in a single layer, which seemed as described, but the application was poor--the color was uneven, streaky, and settled into my lip lines very noticeably. While the gloss itself felt smooth, comfortable, and plush to wear, it just did sit well on my lips. It wore well for two hours and felt hydrating over time.
