ColourPop Infinite & Lucid Dreams So Glass Lip Glosses Reviews & Swatches
Infinite
ColourPop Infinite So Glassy Lip Gloss ($8.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a light, almost milky peach-tinted base with larger sparkles in pink, lavender, and gold. Despite the larger particle size, the gloss base was thicker and tackier (though not heavy or goopy to me) that the gloss never felt gritty while worn. It had semi-sheer coverage with a sparse dusting of sparkle, which distributed fairly evenly. This shade wore well for three and a half hours and was moisturizing over time.

The formula is supposed to have an "ultra-glassy" finish that is "super comfy" to wear. The coverage was designed to be sheerer and packed with "prismatic pearls." They were smooth, comfortable to wear, and easy to apply as they weren't prone to settling into lip lines as much as most glosses.
The texture was lightly tacky and thicker than most of the brand's glosses, but they did deliver on the "ultra-glassy" shine. I couldn't feel the sparkles/shimmers when I pressed my lips together. The formula lasted four to five hours and was hydrating on me. They had a faint, vanilla-ish scent.

Lucid Dreams
ColourPop Lucid Dreams So Glassy Lip Gloss ($8.00 for 0.2 oz.) had a translucent base that was packed full of multi-colored shimmer and faint sparkle–mostly icy lavender but there were hints of lime green, lemony gold, and blue–that made this one really dazzle in person. It had more semi-sheer to medium “coverage” due to how much shimmer was in it.
The gloss was lightly tacky and on the thicker side, especially compared to past formulas by the brand, but it was comfortable to wear and didn’t emphasize my lip lines or lip texture. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and felt hydrating over time.

I absolutely want Lucid Dreams! I’m imagining using over any lipstick that I may want to “cool off”. Or to amp up the coolness of what I’m wearing.
I am anxiously awaiting mine in the mail!! Can’t wait. I love this look and hope it looks okay on my super pale skin. I think it will. Now whether the locals will think that a 68 year old woman should wear such a sparkly lip gloss is another thing. Luckily, I don’t care what they think!
Iโm not a lip gloss woman but Iโm inclined to get Lucid Dreams. After watching Michele Wang talk about lipglosses with a milky or white sheen this looks like the perfect color to experiment with.
So glad that I picked up Lucid Dreams. I was drawn to it but hadn’t read any reviews. I remembered having purchased a completely opaque shade with the same type of sparkle, for my daughter when she was about 12. It looked stunning on her skin tone and I have encouraged her to try and find something similar. She always says that she will but then forgets. Lest you think I bought this for her, no, it is for me!! She doesn’t like or wear any type of gloss as I found out when I purchased her one of the PMGL Astral lippie glosses. I was surprised but hey, more for me!
Lucid Dreams is so cute! Donโt really reach for my Colourpop lippies all my that much but maybe this is the one!
I have a BFF lipliner but itโs just too creamy for me. I have a Fresh Kiss lippie too but I prefer the performance of my k-beauty. Etude Jelly Tint is so good.
Lucid Dreams is a winner, it’s gorgeous! I do have some glosses that are a bit like this one, and I love them, still I think I may have to order this as the ones I have are getting on in years. ๐
Now to decide what else to get, if anything.
