ColourPop In the Limelight Collection Swatches
ColourPop In the Limelight Collection launches today at 10AM PT and includes a nine-pan eyeshadow palette, three cream eyeshadows, and two twist-up eyeshadow pencils. Here are swatches of all the products releasing later this morning.
Colourpop keeps duping their own palettes. I thought this was Tinkerbell! 😂
At this point, I don’t think they have much choice 😆
ColourPopTrend on IG did comparison videos and it’s not as much of a dupe as you think! (Tinkerbell was my first thought too.) She actually compared all of the green palettes; it was a fun video to watch.
This looks like Tinkerbell, but I also see similarities to the Oden’s Eye Hela palette.
While I actually like what I’m seeing, I’m much more intent on getting the Darth Vader palette, which feels like it just dropped. Cannot keep up with ColourPop! 😅
This is what the UD Wild Greens palette should have gone for, mostly greens with a couple neutrals to pull it together. That said, I don’t wear a lot of lime shades so I’m probably set with what’s in the numerous green palettes I already own.
I love green, and the theme of this collection is super cute…but the palette has too little depth. Almost Famous and Miami don’t look like they will be distinguishable on the lids. Same with Booked and Palms.
This is CP’s offering for St. Patrick’s Day I guess. I’m just not digging the lime green colour story here.
Hm… is it just me or does some of the colours look like they are bleeding out into another more dull colour in the swatches…? Looking at almost famous, miami, afterparty, bussin (which is the worst of the “bleeders” and the crayon formula) and heartthrob which is the cream formula…
Will be interesting to see what the review will say about that “phenomena”…
What’s going on with this product?! Miami, Booked, After party, Heartthrob… the left and right edge where the swatch thins out looks brown instead of green. Even Bussin looks weird around the edges, and I wouldn’t expect that from an eye pencil.
I love greens but this veers too yellow for me!
