ColourPop Garden Variety Collection is the newest launch from the brand, which debuted yesterday. The collection includes an eyeshadow palette, four blushes, four Lux Lip Oils, and four Jelly Much Shadows.

As a heads up, all four Lux Lip oils are very, very sheer with faint pearl, so they’re the kind of product that really looks same-same applied (even on my lips, which aren’t that pigmented naturally!). Still bummed by yet another four new blushes and nothing that is truly designed for deeper skin tones ?

Light Plus, Neutral undertones. Normal-to-Dry skin.

I like the left half of the shadow palette (love lime greens!), but I have too much of the colors on the right side of the palette from ColourPop already so I won’t get this palette. The lip oils all look the same on the lips and the arm swatches make them look clear so even though I like lip oils I know this wouldn’t work for me at all. I wish they’d have brought out some of the lux lipsticks with these. I think one in the packaging color of Reign Check would be right up my alley.

Lightest, Neutral undertones. Normal-to-Oily skin.

I ordered the Night Bloom Blush. I think it looks beautiful. The single was sold out already, so I got it with the lip oil. I guess I’ll see whether I like lip oils. lol

Very Light, Pink, slight pink undertones. Normal skin.

Yeah, I’m not going to let the packaging fool me into buying this. I’m not feeling excited by any of the products.

Also… Saguaros are green with white blooms. Why is the Saguaro jelly shadow pink/peach?

Medium, Olive, neutral undertones. Combination skin.

Love the e/s palette, as this better reps the desert, still needs a deeper, cooler green, though, but I have a few l could pull in. I also love Whole Nine Yards blush for my NC41+ skintone (yeah, I need a deeper foundation now). Those lip oils, though…um, nope.

I bought three of the blushes and the palette. I’m such a collector, this stuff just reels me in despite me having these colors a thousand times over….

I often wish makeup companies would sell art prints of their designs and this is definitely one of those times lol I want a framed print of that colorful succulent art!
