Here are 12 possible ways to put together the new Sydney Grace Tiny Marvels Palette in case you needed some ideas!

About This Series

Each look idea is centered around a “quad” of four shades with the expectation that one might bring in the appropriate brow bone or additional transitional shade based on skin tone. I know that I tend to use more like five or six shades in a typical look, but I think that four is a happy medium to give a good idea of the “core” color scheme of a look while giving you the ability to lighten/darken as desired. I have listed the colors in this order: inner lid, middle of lid, outer lid/crease, and crease/above crease.

You might see combinations that seem slightly repeated but placement will vary (e.g. a halo placement where the lightest and more shimmery shade is placed on the center) as placement can also create a different effect/look! You might also want to consider incorporating your favorite matte/shimmer shades (as applicable) to increase the versatility of certain palettes. Consider these ideas a jumping off point!

These are nice! I always enjoy seeing how other people pair colours to give myself some inspiration. I’m still on the fence about this palette, not because there’s anything wrong with the colour scheme, but because I bought a bunch of single eyeshadows (from Sydney Grace) that look pretty similar already. I actually was ready to buy when I first saw pics, but when you break it down into quads like this, I realize I have most of these colours already. A couple are unique to me, but that’ a lot to pay for two or three shades. ๐Ÿ™‚

Glad it could help in one direction or the other, lol!

From what I understand, they plan to restock if it sells very quickly, so there doesn’t appear to be a rush if you’re on the fence anyway!

Oh mon dieu, Christine! You are so very talented in terms of creating colour stories. You have made this palette so much more reachable/wearable than I initially thought. The challenge for me is going to be whether or not I decide to get this one, or the new PMG because I have a stupid amount of eyeshadows and I need not. The PMG is certainly territory covered, but I know I would definitely use the majority of the palette (not so you Mr. Gold shade). The SG would broaden my horizons, but do I need to? I do not look good in yellows and greens. The torture of it all. Iโ€™ve been having an easy time of it lately passing on pretty much everything. Now conundrum.

I think if you are not super into yellows/greens, maybe skip the palette – hopefully, I’m remembering correctly, but they are definitely yellower, more olive, which I recall you saying was not your ideal!

I think when itโ€™s restocked I might pick up the Enduring Love palette over this one as I prefer cooler transitions and donโ€™t go in for olives (although I actually love Mantis, Iโ€™ve been really into single pops of color lately and I hope they release more pastel singles. Iโ€™d get Jewel Bug in a heartbeat.) I do love your rearrangement of the palette and find it very navigable! Even with the olive tones Iโ€™d certainly get a lot of use from this.

I want this palette but I am not sure if I can justify the price after the shipping + exchange rate. I live in Canada and after everything it’s about $90, not including duty if you are unlucky enough to get charged! That would be an extra $15 – 20.

That’s why I’ve not purchased anything from SG, J.
I did the math and it’s just prohibitive.

More companies are learning they need to have distribution within Canada so we don’t need to pay the “additional” duties on top of the already hefty exchange.
I know we have a much small population, but to play in this market you have to commit to it.
Charlotte Tilbury is a great example–fast and free delivery, no hidden costs!

Thank you so much for posting these combinations. My pallette arrived yesterday and I’m finding your suggestions really helpful!! Wearing look 4.0 today and I’m really happy with how it came out ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
