ColourPop Fetch Please Set
ColourPop Fetch Please Set ($30.00 for 0.32 oz.) includes three lipsticks, an eyeshadow duo, a pressed pigment duo, and a single eyeshadow. It’s an interesting set of shades, but I definitely wish the purple and orange duo was eye safe (Pressed Pigments aren’t eye safe) as I think it would have been really cool to work with all of those shades on the eye. I liked the set overall, but it didn’t feel as versatile or as user-friendly as a set of shades that could be used together.
Lovey Dovey is described as a “true mid-tone grey [with a Matte finish].” It’s a muted, medium gray with cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had fairly good color payoff with a moderately blendable consistency. This shade takes a little extra work to really blend it with other shades compared to the brand’s more shimmery shades. It stayed put for ten hours, though. Get comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
Hunger is described as a “deep maroon [with a Matte finish].” It’s a rich, medium-dark red with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage that builds and layers well. I was really happy to see such a rich shade of red that was part of their regular range, so it could be used on the eyes. It was blendable without losing its intensity. When I tested it, the color wore without creasing for ten hours. Get comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
Just a Sip is described as a “warm dusty peach [with a Matte finish].” It’s a muted, peachy-orange with warm, brown undertones and satin finish. It had excellent pigmentation with a smooth, blendable consistency that was really easy to work with. The color wore well for ten hours without creasing or fading. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
Squint is described as a “neon orange-red [with a Matte finish].” It’s a bold, brightened, medium-dark orange with warm, red undertones and a golden satin sheen. It was intensely pigmented with a lightly creamy, smooth texture that felt velvety and blended well on the skin. On cheeks, it stayed on well for nine hours. Note, this is a Pressed Pigment, and the Pressed Pigment formula is “not recommended for the eye area.” See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
Liaison is described as a “vivid violet-blue [with a Matte finish].” It’s a bold, medium-dark cool-toned violet purple with a matte finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff that was somewhat blendable–it seemed a little dry to me. It wore well for nine hours on cheeks. Note, this is a Pressed Pigment, and the Pressed Pigment formula is “not recommended for the eye area.” See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
Squeeze is described as a “soft mauve pink [with a Matte finish].” It’s a soft, muted medium pink with cool, mauve undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had opaque color coverage that glided on evenly without tugging on the lips. The color lasted for four and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
Precocious is described as a “pale muted nude [with a Matte finish].” It’s a light, muted peachy-beige with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had full color coverage, but the texture was slightly drier, though it didn’t tug. It clung more, and it was somewhat drying after three hours of wear (with total wear of four hours). See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
Paramour is described as a “deep dark blackberry [with a Matte finish].” It’s a deep, dark reddish burgundy with subtle, warm undertones. The consistency was thinner and had more slip, so while it glided on easily, it didn’t go on evenly. It looked somewhat patchy and feathered a bit outside the natural lip line after four hours of wear, though it lasted for closer to six hours. It was a lightly drying overall. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Oh my gosh I am so in love with that red/grey duo… I wish Coulorpop shipped to Europe! 🙁
Hopefully they’ll add Europe next!
Gosh darn it, I really want the Squeeze lipstick but would have no real use for anything else :'(
Aww! Hopefully they’ll make it permanent. Lumiere might be kind of close? I want to say it could lean grayer.
I was thinking the new one called Westie might be similar?
It could be!
Ha, I want the paramour one- but not the other two! I feel the pain!
I just want the Paramour too!
This is a nice set. I had checked this out, but resisted. There is another really cute set of blushes and lippies up now on their site! I can’t even keep up with ColourPop these days! I would have been inclined to use Liason on my eyes though. I’m not sure it would look on well on my cheek. It kinda looks grey/purple in the photo and for some that could look corpse-ish on some. Love the eye look you created. I really like the grey and burgundy combo of shadows. Although , I think it would fit better in a collection closer to fall. I may try to get it if it’s available after I take myself off this “low-buy ” horribleness, lol. It is all pretty dupable though for me.
They are releasing a lot of things — I hope they slow down a bit! I did grab that set, though…
seriously? i really want to know your thought/review about the hilighter christine!
Mmmm that red is really beautiful!
It is!
Wow, I do love how the colors of the eye shadows combine. I wasn’t expecting the red and grey to produce a pretty lavender-ish tone.
Surprisingly, Squint looks lovely as as cheek colour on you despite being such a neon orange shade. You’ve got me inspired with this set!
I was surprised at how pretty the two mixed together!
Nice! This looks like a really cool set. I love the mix of colors and the lip colors are beautiful minus the nude. I don’t think I can pull that one off lol. But it’s still a nice set overall
It is a more unique set of shades together!
So pretty but they are some random colors together…I do love ColourPop still 🙂 . I love the eye looks and how the pigment looks on your cheeks.
They do seem like an interesting bunch of shades! I didn’t know if the gray was going to work, but it turned out better than I expected!
This kit is so cute. After all of the oohing and aahing, I still haven’t place a ColourPop order. Need to rectify that soon. They’re pressed pigments always look so amazing.
Can’t wait to see what you finally try!
Ohhh! I like this set more after seeing swatches! 🙂
Yay!
I really liked this set, except for the blue. It’s the one color I just don’t like on my face. The red/grey is just gorgeous though!
I wish I could order more stuff, but their international shipping scales and starts at $15. It gets high really quick. I wanted the newest set from today, but it’s over $50 for me. I will have to live through your swatches <3
Aww! International shipping is tough. I don’t know what their volume is or what they have going on for it, but I know it gets very pricey if you aren’t higher volume/work something out, I think. Though it totally depends if they insure/track it at all. 🙁
I made it worthwhile by placing a massive order (and using my birthday as justification), but I hope they eventually can bring it down. Or at least have a max ceiling it hits. Oh well. Saves my wallet.
Can’t wait to see your swatches from the newest set, esp that highlighter!
I would have a really hard time pulling off the color combos in this set. And if the purple and orange duo isn’t eye safe, would you use as a blush?
I used them as blush in this post!
I really like Squeeze but those lippie stix just don’t agree with my lips… something about the formula. I wish there was a pencil in Squeeze!
Maybe they will make one!
I love half of this set, haha. For $30 it might be worth it to keep what I want and give the rest away.
That’s a great idea! 🙂
I adore the lovey dovey/hunger set.
It’s very interesting!
Too bad Paramour is drying…
I hear ya!
What a nice set! I am very impressed! I actually gasped when I saw Hunger swatched, it’s gorgeous.
Wow! 😀
This looks awesome! I’m wondering if the pressed pigment is similar to the Urban Decay pressed palette that “isn’t recommended for eye area”? I do use those on my eyes and have no problem.
I don’t really know for sure why, but it’s possible.
This seems like a bit of an odd set, but you did a wonderful job of bringing it all together in your looks. I love the Squeeze lippie.
Thank you as always, Rachel!
I hope they make Squeeze a permanent solo shade! I’ve been really drawn to some of the dupes even though I don’t usually like lipsticks that light on me. With ColourPop’s great prices I could try out that shade and not be disappointed if it doesn’t work.
Hope they do!
Love that vibrant lipstick Paramour – it looks sensational on you Christine. And although the eyeshadows aren’t to my taste, I really must get Sephora’s My Boyfriend’s Jeans eyeliner. Every time I see it on you I love it.
Thank you, Genevieve!
I love My Boyfriend’s Jeans – so brightening.
Okay, another one that really works for me. Love the color combinations! I’ll be getting this too. [sigh]
Well, it could be worse with prices at Guerlain level, right??
Just placed my first Colour Pop order a couple days ago and can’t wait to receive it. Of course with the free mini highlighter with $40 purchase is seeming more and more tempting. My friend who recently signed up for their email newsletter didn’t receive a $5 off coupon like I had. Hope they will start doing that again as that was part of why I finally caved. Personally, I very much hope they make Just a Sip and Squeeze permanent as I’d love to try both of those, especially Squeeze. I wouldn’t mind trying the gray/burgundy shadow duo especially after seeing the lovely eye look you created. Yet I have no need nor desire for the other lippie stix shades as the skintone shades like that tend to make me look like a zombie (i have light skin NC-20) and the super dark vampy shade unfortunately is a one that i just can’t pull off plus the duo isn’t even supposed to be used in the eye area which limits the usability. Although the red-orange shade definitely makes a great blush on you! Hopefully Colour Pop will at the very least add Squeeze to their permanent lippie stix line.
By the way, have you tried their lip primer? If so what did you think of it as a primer compared to other lip primers. I am becoming more and more interested in lip primers and wondered what your recommendations for someone who has dry skin and therefore dry lips would be? Thank you in advance Christine.
~Jaclyn~
I haven’t tried their lip primer, though I have definitely heard good things about it! 🙂 I don’t have much experience with lip primers to be honest!
