ColourPop Clutch Super Shock Cheek
ColourPop Clutch Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is described as a “vivid rosy red in a matte finish.” It’s a bold, brightened, medium-dark pink-red with cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. ColourPop Early Bird (P, $8.00) is lighter. MAC Secret Admirer (LE, $20.00) is warmer. Tarte Irreplaceable (LE, $26.00) is lighter, powder. Makeup Geek Love Affair (P, $9.99) is powder. Milani Lady Rouge (06) (LE, $7.99) is darker, powder. NARS Laos (P, $39.00) is warmer. Tarte Fearless (P, $26.00) is lighter, powder. Too Faced Melt Into Spring (LE) is powder, warmer. Guerlain Madame Rougit (LE, $67.00) is pinker, powder. NARS Soulshine #1 (LE, $29.00) is more shimmery, powder. MAC Simmer (LE, $27.00) is more shimmery, powder. NYX Pinched (P, $5.00) MAC Mocha (P, $21.00) Get comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.
It had rich, buildable coverage that was intense if applied or patted on with fingertips or more semi-opaque when applied with a stippling brush. I felt like a little went a long way, but the product remained blendable, so it is versatile for the full spectrum of skin tones as you can really adjust and play with the level of coverage. The texture has that lightly spongy, slightly creamy consistency that turns into more of a powder-like texture and finish once you start to apply it to the skin. In the pot, it’s distinctly a cream-based product, but it plays more like a powder product when you actually work with it. I think it looks like a cross of the two in terms of how it sits on the skin, as it looks almost like a stain due to that near-matte finish that doesn’t look totally flat. On me, this shade lasted for ten hours before fading.

This is so pretty, I can’t even deal. :O
lol! 🙂
*swoon* SO PRETTY!
It is!
I almost think I like the blushes more than I like the eye shadows. I keep adding blushes to my wish list while my eye shadow list remains the same. This is beautiful!
Crazy! 😀
I’m a little afraid of this one, because I feel like applying with fingers, it would just be too easy to put on too much, yes? I’ll probably stick with the sheerer Early Bird.
If you’re doing finger application, yeah, I’d go with Early Bird! 🙂
A nice red, a lot more muted than it looks in the pan. Seems like a little goes a long way, this would probably last me 10 years!
It probably would, lol!
Nice..where would you put this compare to Tom ford wicked roughly? 10 hour wear time! That’s awesome! So many nice blsuhes popping up at great prices! I wish I could return all my expensive ones now, lol! I can’t wait for your round up on these. Between these and Clinique, my blush brain is in overdrive! 🙂
*blushes…argh..such a long week…
LOL! I swear, spring is always blush season!
Looks very pretty on you!
Thanks, Fancie!
Very pretty. Looks like a slightly redder version of the Tarte blush I just got!
Ooh, fun!
Thanks for your review!
I do like this color. Initially I was like… wow this is so… RED! But the swatch excluded my first impression. Yeah, I think it’s a beautiful shade, and wearable for almost all skin tones as well, as it is blendable.
It is a bold shade!
This is a pretty shade. It probably would make me look like I am red from running too much.
It’s a fine line!
Gosh, that’s gorgeous. And how much do I love your eye look?! It’s perfect with the warm, pink blush. *swoon*
Thank you, Rachel!
This almost looks like MAC’s Bite of An Apple but I suspect it’s pinker and cooler.
I can see some similarities!
