ColourPop Fall 2019 Shadows Reviews & Swatches (Part 1 of 5)
Latchkey
ColourPop Latchkey Pressed Powder Pigment ($4.50 for 0.05 oz.) is a muted, medium berry with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had good color coverage with a slightly drier, thinner texture that was less powdery than some ColourPop mattes but was one of the few that benefited noticeably with a primer underneath to prove smoothness. It wore well for eight and a half hours and left a stain behind.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing." The way the Pressed Pigments differ is that they're not intended for usage on the immediate eye area.
The majority of the shades are semi-opaque to opaque in coverage, blend out fairly well, and can sometimes be a bit drier/more powdery compared to typical matte shades. They often wear eight to nine hours on me before fading, but many shades in the Pressed Pigment family leave some staining behind.

Cater 2 U
ColourPop Cater 2 U Pressed Powder Shadow ($4.50 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, pinky-red with cool undertones and a soft, pearly sheen. It had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which adhered well to bare skin and blended out with little effort. The texture was smooth to the touch, dense but not too firmly pressed into the pan, and was easy to work with. The color stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours and left a stain behind.

Formula Overview
$4.50/0.05 oz. - $90.00 Per Ounce
The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Dear Diary
ColourPop Dear Diary Pressed Powder Pigment ($4.50 for 0.05 oz.) is a medium-dark red with subtle, cool undertones and a frosted sheen. It had opaque color coverage in one layer, which applied fairly evenly to bare skin and blended out decently along the edges, though the texture was on the thinner side and had some slip. The shimmer didn’t come through as much unless applied with a dampened brush or a fingertip. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours and left a very faint stain behind.

Manifest It
ColourPop Manifest It Pressed Powder Pigment ($4.50 for 0.05 oz.) is a medium-dark, fuchsia pink with subtle, cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had faint sparkle running through it, but it looked and functioned like a matte finish on the eye. It had opaque coverage in a single layer, while the texture felt a bit drier and had a touch of fallout. This shade was previously released in a larger palette, but the version in the single form seemed less bright. It wore well for eight and a half hours and left a stain behind.

Good Manners
ColourPop Good Manners Pressed Powder Pigment ($4.50 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, cotton candy pink with strong, blue undertones and a matte finish. It was lighter and brighter than most blue-based matte pink shades I’ve seen, which was unexpected (I thought it would be easier to dupe). The texture was soft, a little powdery in the pan, but it had excellent pigmentation and good adherence. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Ivy League
ColourPop Ivy League Pressed Powder Pigment ($4.50 for 0.05 oz.) is a bright, light-medium fuchsia pink with strong, blue undertones and a metallic finish. It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was dense without being too firmly pressed into the pan nor was it too thick when applied to bare skin. It lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

All these pinky shades look pretty good. Perfect for summer.
Great pink shades! Good manners is the one I want to pick up. It’a hard to find a good cool, bright, matte fuchsia like that.
One shade, and one shade only, made it into my WL: Dear Diary. Everything else is either too pink or I have something close enough. But, Dear Diary is a special looking shade to me!
