Baroque was the only that caught my attention from the sneak peek. However, From the promo pictures, I’d thought baroque more blue based, instead the swatches reveal that it is basically a collection of greys, very closer one to each others

Same for me. I thought this was a muted blue palette with some gray blues. Instead it’s a lot of dark gray shades. Pass for me.

Pass on this collection. I had my eye on Baroque but I think one of those grey’s could have been swapped out. The blushes look great though.

Baroque seemed to be the palette that caught the most attention when we saw the first pics of the collection. But now seeing the swatches, I think it is a big let down. The grey shades are so similar to each other that they are almost identical, even the two contrast shades – reddish, are also variations of the same shade. A real lack of imagination is going on here.
As for the other two palettes – Grandeur has a very warm neutral feel about it and Ornate is a very reddish based palette

Everything looks to have good, solid quality. Baroque looks a little too gray for me, or so I’m basing off of my first impressions. Grandeur could have been a perfect autumn/winter palette if not for ColourPop returning to adding a pressed glitter! Boo! Hiss! πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ

They would have to stick a pressed glitter in Grandeur. I really like Monaco. Such a pretty dark green. I’m pretty much on a no buy anyway πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

The color scheme of Baroque reminds me of late ’00s–early ’10s MAC eyeshadows (back when they were the end-all, be-all!). They really did have a lot of grays back thenβ€”Nehru, Typographic, Print, Scene…

I was originally drawn to Baroque but the shades swatched out look kind of repetitive. I love the color story of Grandeur but it looks very similar to Brown Sugar which I already own, so I can’t justify buying it even though the packaging is everything. I might pick up a blush just to indulge in the packaging.

I was so close to buying Baroque, but decided to wait for your swatches, I’m glad I did as I’m now saving a bit of money. In the pans I thought if looked like the perfect coolish grey dominated palette, but looking at the swatches there’s only two colours I really like, and I’m not getting a palette for two pans, even if it’s not expensive at all.
What I do like, a lot is the blusher, Vogue.
I will take a very good look at dupes for what I love in this release.

I’ve been looking for some slate gray and I think this is it! I can dupe the other two shadow palettes even though the packaging is beyond gorgeous. The only question is will it be in stock when I have the money to buy it?
