Mode is a medium-dark brown with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had opaque color payoff that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out with ease. The texture was more substantial--velvety and a lightly powdery but not prone to sheering out. This shade showed signs of fading after eight hours of wear.
