ColourPop Button & Rocket Lippie Stix Reviews, Photos, Swatches
ColourPop Button Lippie Stix
ColourPop Button Lippie Stix ($5.00 for 0.0357 oz.) is described as a “pale creamy peach nude [with a satin finish].” It’s a light-medium, pink-tinged peach with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had mostly opaque color coverage with a lightly creamy consistency that didn’t tug or drag on the lips but doesn’t have a lot of slip, so the color wears a little longer for me (almost five hours). It was neither drying nor hydrating. The formula seems thin enough to me that if you have drier lips, it may catch on flakes/imperfections so you may want to consider prepping lips prior to applying this. Bite Beauty Leche (P, $24.00) is a smidgen lighter. Bite Beauty Amaretto (P, $24.00) is browner. Tom Ford Beauty First Time (09) (LE, $50.00) is a touch pinker, more muted. NARS Julie (P, $32.00) is pinker, glossier. NARS Brigitte (P, $32.00) is pinker, glossier. NARS Descanso (LE, $25.00) is darker. Givenchy Beige Plume (102) (P, $36.00) is lighter. ColourPop Rocket Lippie Stix ($5.00 for 0.0357 oz.) is described as a “soft bright pinky coral [with a satin finish].” It’s a bright, light-medium pink with warm undertones and a satiny sheen. It was thicker and more emollient than other shades I’ve tried with a “satin finish,” but it had the full color coverage you’d expect from it. It applied easily as it glided over lips without dragging, and it covered evenly. On me, this shade wore well for five hours and was neither drying nor hydrating. Tom Ford Beauty Patrick (LE, $32.00) is lighter, more muted. Bite Beauty Tatin (P, $24.00) is lighter, more muted. NARS Natalie (P, $32.00) is darker. MAC Love Temple (LE, $22.00) is warmer, darker. Marc Jacobs Beauty Wham (604) (P, $28.00) is darker. Givenchy Corail Decollete (303) (P, $36.00) is darker. Givenchy Rose Boudoir (204) (P, $36.00) is more muted. Bite Beauty Damask (LE, $28.00) is cooler-toned. Sephora Collection Flamingo (LE, $12.50) is cooler-toned. Revlon Snow Peach (LE, $7.99) is darker, warmer. MAC Be a Lady (P, $22.00) is glossier. Tom Ford Beauty Paradiso (07) (LE, $49.00) is darker, glossier. Too Faced Bon Bon (P, $22.00) is warmer, glossier. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

These are all looking great! They look really smooth on the lips. Shame they don’t ship internationally. There are so many I’d love to try! What are your favourite colours?
I don’t know if I have any real favorites yet – I’m not a big lover of satins/mattes myself 🙂 There are some nice quality shades though, so far!
I asked about shipping to the UK and they said they are working on it so international should be available eventually! They also recommended a shipping forwarding service but I’m a bit hesitant at the moment because of extra fees and shipping prices without knowing the weight in advance. Eventually the list of ColourPop items I like the look of will grow so big that I’ll cave and buy some..! >.<
Button looks super dry, even though you say it isn’t… Rocket looks awesome though!
Definitely not dry! 🙂
Now only if Rocket looked so good on me – it totally washes me out 🙁 Gorgeous on you though – both Button & Rocket – gotta love ColourPop and their range!
Ohh, bummer! 🙁
Another round of beautiful shades! 🙂
😀
I have Button! It looks great on you. It’s actually about that shade on me, too, but I’m not used to wearing such a “light” shade yet, haha, I wear a lot of berries and mauves. I’ve ended up applying the Button liner underneath, which is a brownish color, and it makes a deeper version of the same peach-pink shade. Also, now I’m REALLY leaning towards getting Rocket… In your pictures it looks bright, but not neon. Would you say it’s like that in natural daylight/real life, too? 😀
Nice! Might have to look into the lip pencils 🙂 It’s pretty bright – I don’t know that I would say full neon, but it is bright.
These look so good on you! They set very badly into every line in my lips. I moisturize and scrub my lips regularly, but it doesn’t help with these. I also use a base. Any suggestion? I love the colors and they feel good on.
The only solutions I could think of are using a lip liner or a lip primer!
I love Rocket! What a great watermelon pink shade. Button is pretty, too.
I liked the consistency of Rocket!
Yeah.loving these! I have button..adding rocket for my next order! It will be great for spring/summer!
Woohoo!!
I have Button and I’m dying to try it, but my lips are too chapped right now! Stupid weather and holidays.
Aww! Hope your lips feel better soon, Kirsten!
Whee! Rocket screams Summer! ^_^ It’s so bright and happy – I have yet to find a way to make such shades really look good on me, but I’ll be damned if I don’t like them anyway…
Gotta love pinks and corals!
These are such cute spring colors! Rocket looks so bright and pretty
It’s so true – they’re great shades for spring!
Hello ROCKET! I love it!
Yay!
I really like rocket. I’ll have to add that one to my next order. I’m trying to decide if button is too light. I don’t like l pale lips on myself, but I like peachy tones.
I think it’s one of those on-the-border shades – might be too light on some, just fine on others!
These look more matte than satin. And I thought Rocket would’ve been a magenta/fuchsia shade, but I’m glad it’s a more coral-pink color. ^^
There’s not a huge difference in the finish (applied) for matte vs. satin, but they definitely feel different going on!
The colorpop lippie stix are amazing .. loved the finish and shade of Rocket here.. 🙂
I liked Rocket the most between these two!
Rocket is such a pretty color!
It is so bright!
I have both of these and Button looks pretty terrible on me. What colours should I layer it with to darken/cool it?
Hi Christine!
Do you know any good dupe for the MAC Viva Glam Nicki 1 in the colourpop range? To me, rocket seems a very similar finish and shade, but I would like to know what you think! Fetch is another one which looks pretty close. Thank you in advance! 🙂
I haven’t tried many shades from it yet 🙁
