Boujee Call

ColourPop Boujee Call Pressed Powder Highlighter ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a light gold with warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It appeared a lot darker and more peach-toned in the pan but all I could see swatched and applied to my cheeks was gold. The texture had a smooth, moderately firm feel to it, and it took a heavier hand to get product onto my brush (or alternatively, use a denser brush). I had no trouble diffusing or blending out the edges of the highlighter on my skin, though, and there was no excess product kicked up in the pan as it was denser. It had good pigmentation, which was buildable to full coverage with a second layer but easily worn at sheerer coverage if desired. On me, the highlighter stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading slightly.

Formula Overview

$12.00/0.21 oz. - $57.14 Per Ounce

The powder highlighter is supposed to have a "high-shine" finish with "high colour intensity." In general, ColourPop's pressed highlighter powders have a smooth, moderately dense texture that was soft enough to be picked up easily by a brush but not kick up any powder in the pan. The formula was semi-opaque to opaque but easily sheered out for less shine and coverage if desired. There were a few shades within the range that emphasized my skin's natural texture slightly but most did not. The wear ranged from seven and a half hours to nine hours.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Sorry..nevermind the sale hasn’t started yet, ha!

But back on topic..I would like to try Flexitarian from CP..I heard good things about that one..the one I got was one they gave away in a deal..so hopefully it is good..I am not picky with highlighters…as long as they aren’t too grey…pretty much all I ask? 🙂
