ColourPop Blissful, Come Thru, Dream Queen Lux Glosses Reviews & Swatches
Blissful
ColourPop Blissful Lux Gloss ($8.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a light pink-coral with flecks of gold and pink pearl. It had semi-sheer coverage that applied evenly with minimal settling in my lip lines (but there was a bit!) with a smattering of pearl, so it was more of a shiny gloss than a shimmery one applied. The texture was smooth, plush, and comfortable to wear for the two and a half hours it lasted for.

Formula Overview
$8.00/0.16 oz. - $50.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "shine" with a "cushiony soft" texture that "hydrates lips." The brand isn't clear on how pigmented or how sheer the formula is intended to be; they instead they have the "perfect amount of colour all in one." Based on what I can infer from promotional images, their marketing, and typical lip gloss claims (in the industry), gloss is typically sheerer coverage rather than opaque, so based on that, I will be rating on the expectation of medium coverage.
The formula has a smooth consistency that was more like a gel-cream, as it felt denser ("cushiony") without being heavy or tacky. I didn't feel like they were the most forgiving, though, as most shades settled into my lip lines to a small degree. The coverage was sheer to semi-sheer, which resulted in the shades looking more similar on than they looked in the tubes (the initial line-up could have been much more diverse as a result). They lasted between two and three hours and were moisturizing to wear.
There was no discernible taste, and they had a sweet, sugary scent.

Come Thru
ColourPop Come Thru Lux Gloss ($8.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy coral with strong, warm undertones and fine golden pearl throughout. It had semi-sheer coverage with a smooth, lightweight consistency that felt plush and more gel-cream like as it was more substantial but not tacky or heavy to wear. The gloss lasted well for three hours and was hydrating over time.

Dream Queen
ColourPop Dream Queen Lux Gloss ($8.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a medium-dark coral with strong, warm orange undertones and a cream finish. The cream finish gave it a milkier quality, so there was noticeable product that sank into my lip lines and some streaking along the edges if I pressed my lips together. The consistency was lightweight, smooth, and non-sticky with a plusher, more “cushiony” feel as marketed. It had medium coverage that stayed on for two and a half hours, while the formula felt hydrating over time.

Come Thru isn’t bad for a basic daily gloss. But, I do have Fenty Universal Gloss Bomb, so I’m already set in that department.
I got Come Thru as it was the only color remaining when I placed an order. It doesn’t dry out my lips ever which is really nice – in fact, I haven’t been reaching for my lip balm because this gloss seems to be keeping my lips nice and smooth. I wish it had more pigmentation… not opaque, but just a touch more than it has… as it looks pretty darned clear on my lips. I do like the effect it gives over lipstick or liner and it plays well with them so I’m glad I got this as it is a great topper gloss. I find it lasts quite a while on the lips… but half the time it feels nice and the other it feels like too much and can be too tacky. I think that when it feels tacky I likely just put too much on – still playing around with that. Love the doe foot (thank you CP for changing back from that brush) and that it doesn’t have a taste. Very very minimal vanilla like scent to me that I can only smell if I put my nose right up to the tube, but no taste.
Hmmm – fairly similar shades and not too great ratings. I wish ColourPop would expand their lux lipstick range instead.
