ColourPop BittiPop Super Shock Foursome Review & Swatches
BittiPop
ColourPop BittiPop Super Shock Shadow Quad ($18.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a new, limited edition foursome featuring all shimmery, cream-to-powder shades. I think that Warm & Fuzzy and Seventh Heaven were a little too similar to have in a set together, though I can see a difference in impact and effect on but I think one of them could have a cooler pink base to differentiate them better. The four shades were pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing.

Walk on Air
Walk on Air is a pale, champagne gold with warm undertones and a smooth, metallic sheen. It was richly pigmented with a lightly emollient texture that was smooth to the touch but not too slippery, so it adhered evenly and blended out with ease but never sheered out too readily. It was still going strong after 10 hours of wear.

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow is a cream-based formula that comes in a multitude of shades and finishes. The more metallic shades have the most slip to them (they have a “wetter” feel), while the more matte ones have a firmer, more clay-like consistency. Almost every shade I’ve tried from ColourPop has been exceptionally long-wearing (10+ hours of wear, usually there until I remove, even 14 hours later). The pigmentation can vary from shade to shade, but the average shade is quite pigmented.
From feedback I’ve seen from readers, many love them but some don’t like them at all. They aren’t a traditional cream eyeshadow, as they are denser (more sponge-like), and they apply best with flat, firm, synthetic brushes (I like the MAC 242 and 249) for me. The brand recommends using fingers for the most pigmented application, but I’ve only felt that fingers were necessary on a few shades (usually the super glittery ones).
The more matte shades can be on the drier side and vary from medium to opaque in coverage, though they're often buildable. They can be a little hard to diffuse the edges of, though some are lovely to work with.
The more glittery shades have been the weakest to me, as they can be sheerer or harder to apply. Sometimes, they are more pigmented and work like the other finishes in the formula, but often, they are sheerer and only function well patted on top of more pigmented eyeshadows to add glitter. They do, however, tend to have little fallout over time with the occasional shade having a more moderate amount of fallout (but still less fallout than most powder eyeshadows with glitter).

Gumball
Gumball is a soft, light-medium pink with warm undertones and a mix of lavender and gold pearl that gave it a soft, frosted finish overall. The texture was smooth, lightly emollient to the touch, with that signature clay-like feel that could be depressed with a fingertip but turned to powder as soon as it was applied to my lid. It had good pigmentation that applied evenly and blended out well. The color stayed on nicely for 10 hours without fading or creasing on me.

Warm & Fuzzy
Warm & Fuzzy is a deep pink with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling sheen. It had rich color payoff paired with a lightly creamy, emollient texture that wasn’t too wet to the touch and quickly transformed into a more powder-like texture when it came into contact with my skin. It wore well for 10 hours without fading or creasing on me.
Note, this shade is a Pressed Pigment, and it is not intended for usage around the eye.

This is a great quad in the quality end of things! I’m especially loving the 2 marbled shades, as they appear to be pretty solid dupes for a few far pricier shadows that I’m dying to get my paws on!
Initially, from the image I thought that this was a blush kit, then I realized that we are talking about eyeshadows?. Nevertless, I’m still thiking that these panst are more appealing as blushes
I thought these were blushes at first, too. They’d be really pretty used on the cheeks, I think.
Same here – these look like blushes and as someone who doesn’t wear pink on her eyes, except for the first shade, I just wouldn’t bother with these as they don’t work for me as eye products and I have enough pink blushes.
I do see what you mean about the last two in the list being so similar. Lovely shades, but no peach…..
I would like the first one as an eyeshadow shade….
