Doesnt look like it to me – tati’s had 4 colours, each with 4 textures. There might be individual matches but overall as a palette its quite different

While I won’t be picking this up, I love it! It looks cohesive and not too many repeats throughout. The colors I’m most drawn to I have in my Huda New Nudes palette. Might make a good Christmas gift for someone just starting in makeup.

Very comprehensive, well curated neutral eyeshadow palette that doesn’t run red or orange! I’m loving it! However…I have absolutely no idea how or where I could store a mega-palette like this. I get the feeling that this one needs a fairly large area to place it, and as of yet I don’t have anywhere to put it. So far, the only other mega-palette I’d even consider is the newest one by Viseart. These are the only two that call to me

I completely agree Nancy with your observation that it doesn’t run red and orange (well there’s a little orange) and that’s a good thing! Like you I’m not fond of mega oversized palettes, but I’m hoping maybe I could depot the shades I like into a Z palette.

I think this is very nicely done scheme wise.. Shadows which look similar have different finishes and I like the balance between warm and cool. I’m not typically a fan of mega palettes. That said, I’ve actually been eyeballing a few bigger basics palettes lately; specifically, ND Biba. A lot of my basics were in my custom MAC palettes built a decade ago, or more, so those are shadows needing replacement In my stash. The Colour Pop Flutter By palette I decided to grab since some of the dupes I have on hand for the palette are old and loved MAC shades. I guess jury is out until review. This would be significantly cheaper than ND, but not nearly as portable.

I don’t understand why they call them “mega palettes”, they’re not even that big. I have the So Jaded palette and it’s the same size. It’s throwing off people who think they won’t have room to store them

Aron Avatar

I’m a beginner, i have been looking for a great range of strictly neutrals, and I’m so intrigued by these shades .Christine, can you please review this palette,it would be of great use to people like me….

This is very much my cup of tea, and I would be really tempted if it was not for my Huda New Nude palette, which has wonderful shimmers and is a bit less overwhelming while having a similar colour scheme. Really happy that there is no glitters and that it seems to cover both cooler and warmer neutrals, though!

I’ve just never seen anything like that from a Colourpop product. From the pictures, it looks like something dripped on the eyeshadow after it was already pressed? So weird!

Pami Avatar

At first take I thought there were too many similar dupes in the huge palette and that they could have eliminated them and cut the palette in half, 15 are a much more manageable size, but after a closer look at the swatches I realized that many are a coordinated matte & shimmer, and I like that. I also like that there are a decent amount of cool/neutral shades. A few of the swatches look a little thin, but overall pretty decent.
I wonder if the shades I like could be popped out and put into a Z palette.

Sarah Avatar

I do it ALL. THE. TIME. I love CP palettes, but there’s always at least a shade or two that I will never ever use, so I pop them out, and swap them with leftovers from other CP palettes I have. Or sometimes I just want to rearrange the shadows in a way that makes more sense to me. It’s very easy, and it’s one of my favorite things about CP palettes… the fact that they use magnets make them so easy to depot/rearrange. Use a refrigerator magnet, and hold it near the edge of the pan of a shadow. They should lift right out.

Pami Avatar

Thanks so much Sarah! I had no idea you could remove them like that! I have the Fame palette and some of the plastic, color-themed palettes, plus singles I could use to customize them (I currently have them in a Z palette). Yay! ?❤️?

She Avatar

I don’t want the whole palette. I already have parts of this from their other palettes, lol. I’d like to be able to buy some as singles! CP is being wasteful and excessive.

Spyglass looks baaaad.

Kelly Avatar

I think I will be picking this up, but to keep as collection of singles instead of a mega palette. I’ve been loving mixing and matching my existing colourpop neutral palettes (I LOVE that the palettes are all magnetized!), and I think this would complement those and allow me to arrange or dupe any palette I’d ever be interested in.

Lauren Avatar

For me there are too many similar shades (barely a difference so I doubt it will translate well on the eye)… plus, I have a couple of their neutral palettes that are smaller that have me covered. I don’t have a need for this. However, for someone getting into makeup that needs a starter palette this would be a great idea.

I got this palette a few days ago and I am loving it! The shades are so pretty IRL. Especially Dutch Process, Revel, and Spree. I have previously only purchased Super Shock shadows so this is my first palette from CP. Maybe that’s why I like it so much. There are several shades that look similar to each other but my take on that is’ that once I hit pan on the one I really like, I still have another that will work well enough. Nothing is more frustrating than falling in love with one shade on a palette and then being afraid to use it too much because it will run out. Does that sorta make sense or am I just weird? There are some similarities to the Carli Bybel (which I am also loving) but only 2 or 3 shades. Overall I am glad i bought it.
