Act a Fool is a medium-dark mauve with neutral-to-cool undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer, while the texture was soft, moderately powdery, but it had good adhesion and wasn't prone to sheering out too readily, though there was slight fallout. It wore well for eight hours before fading noticeably on me.
