ColourPop Bae Area Pressed Powder Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Bae Area
ColourPop Bae Area Pressed Powder Highlighter ($8.00 for 0.23 oz.) is a rich, medium copper with warm, brown undertones and a golden, metallic sheen. It was richly pigmented and had a smooth, almost cream-like texture that was incredibly blendable and easy to apply to the skin. The high-shine finish seemed to emphasize my skin’s texture a bit at medium or greater coverage, though. On me, it wore well for eight and a half hours before fading.

The powder highlighter is supposed to have a "high-shine" finish with "high colour intensity." In general, ColourPop's pressed highlighter powders have a smooth, moderately dense texture that was soft enough to be picked up easily by a brush but not kick up any powder in the pan. The formula was semi-opaque to opaque but easily sheered out for less shine and coverage if desired. There were a few shades within the range that emphasized my skin's natural texture slightly but most did not. The wear ranged from seven and a half hours to nine hours.

I’m so in love with these Colourpop highlights! Very impressed by the formula/shade selection and I love the slim little compact (not to mention the price)
Me too! I love having a nice, affordable option!
This is the one i’v been looking forward to the most!!! I’v had it in my cart since it came out ahaha. I think i’ll go ahead and order it now!!! I love this tone and colour!!
YAYYYY! 😀
I just purchased this. It’s gorgeous! Perfect for WOC 😉
So glad to hear you think it will be great for WOC – that was what I thought, too!
What a beauty this one is!
However, having peeked at the dupe list, I’m cringing. Clearly I need an intervention, because I have 4 of its dupes! Yep; FOUR. ?
Haha! You and me both 😉
I am liking that eye quad look:). I just figured out what AF stands for in Colourpop speak lol…the industry seems to be turnin a lil blue as a whole lol. Not sure if I am a fan of that but hey I still wouldn’t mind that eye quad though:). As for the highlighter, it’s probably a bit too coppery for me..looks pretty though.
Thank you, Kalliela!
I have highlighters out the wazoo and I didn’t think I could be impressed by anything else, but you know, this one does it for me.
GORGEOUS.
I KNEW IT!
This is really pretty!! Probably just a smidge too dark for me and what I normally wear!
It is a lovely shade!
Pretty! This reminds me, I can make more use of MAC My Mimi, now that my skin’s taken on some color for summer!
