Coloured Raine Soul Satin Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark taupe with neutral-to-warm undertones and a satin sheen. The color payoff was fully opaque in a single layer, while the consistency was smooth, lightly creamy, and comfortable to apply. The lipstick was slightly thicker than the average lipstick, which helped to minimize the appearance of imperfections. It wore well for five hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Cherry Blossom
Coloured Raine Cherry Blossom Satin Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a deep red with cool, blue undertones and a satin finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation with a lightly emollient base that was smooth, easy to apply as it did not tug or drag on the lips, and sat evenly on the lips. I noticed that it had more shine and some translucency on the lips compared to the other shades, so it appeared lighter but was not as pigmented. On me, it wore well for over six hours and left a stain behind while the formula was neither drying nor hydrating.

Agree! I’m quite tempted. I’m not very good with browns typically. This one is pretty unique and doesn’t look as warm as most.

Soul is that one in a million taupe liptsick that I *know* will look awesome even on me! Those are always more difficult because olive undertones can make taupes look very strange against them. But this one seems to have just enough warmth to make it a feasible choice. Therefore, now my choice is between Soul and Bite Demi-Glace.

Still haven’t bathed in the Coloured Raine. Soul appeals greatly. MAC Dearly Beloved may have gone perm, as it’s still around. Guess CR is teasing some swell stuff upcoming.

I have the liquid lipstick versions of both and they’re gorgeous. I can’t make Soul work on me without making me look ill, but I’m working on it because it’s hot. And The liquid cherry blossom is THE most beautiful blue red I’ve ever tried. I’m so tempted to get these just because I love the brand.
