Clionadh Vermillion & Burnt Sienna Deep Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches
Vermillion
Clionadh Vermillion Deep Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow ($15.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a lighter, brown base that was somewhat transparent paired with a metallic shimmer that shifted from greenish-gold to warmer gold to copper to pink. The brand described the shift as “pink-orange-gold-lime.” The pink really flashed out under brighter lights, while the greenish-gold came through in lower lighting, so I felt like the full spectrum was easy to detect in person under different lighting conditions.
Applied with a dry brush, it had more semi-opaque, buildable coverage, which seemed in line with the formula’s description, and more opaque coverage when applied with a fingertip or a dampened brush. The texture was soft, blendable, and smooth with a slightly dense feel but not to the point where it felt overly stiff. It wore well for eight and a half hours before showing signs of fading.

Formula Overview
$15.00/0.05 oz. - $300.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have more "depth" in the "base tone" and specifically designed to work for deeper skin tones in the way that the more transparent Iridescent Multichrome finish does. They are supposed to have a "tanned base."
While other Multichromes may require more specific application or technique, the brand says that this formula can be used "the same way you would" apply any "highlight or shadow."
The consistency has a denser, smoother feel that wasn't too firm, so I had no trouble picking up product with eyeshadow or highlighter brushes (without having to wet the brush). The product applied evenly, had semi-opaque to opaque, buildable coverage, and was blendable. Some of the shades with larger shimmer/sparkle had light fallout during application. They wore between eight and nine hours on me before fading a bit.

Burnt Sienna
Clionadh Burnt Sienna Deep Iridescent Multichrome Eyeshadow ($15.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a transparent, warmer, brownish base with a metallic finish that shifted from greenish-gold to true gold to orange to copper. The brand described the shift as “hot orange-gold-lime.” I feel like “lime” might be a bit of a stretch as I could see a bit of a dirty gold, greenish-gold effect but definitely not lime! Otherwise, the shift was strong and noticeable in person without having to contort myself to find it.
The base was transparent, but the shift itself was quite intense and effectively more opaque. It could be sheered out for a highlighting effect or layered on top of other shades. The texture felt smooth, lightly emollient but not too dense nor too softly-pressed in the pan. The product applied well to bare skin whether I used a dry brush or a fingertip, so it was more versatile and easier to work with. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

Burnt Sienna for the WIN. I’m so in love with this interesting take on what I would call a “neutral” multichrome! Can take it in a more bronzed olive direction or go in a more coppery vibe. I like that versatility!
Just so pretty. Still planning on picking up a few this month. I know it takes awhile to get them so will get the order off this week and hope they get here in time for Christmas. Thank you for you wonderful photos of these stunning shadows. I know it is hard to get good photos of so much sparkle, duo and trio chromes.
I literallly gasped when I saw these colors on your eyes. That never happens. Wow. Pitter patter.
Love Vermillion!
Two more stunners to drool over. Such inspiration from your eye look Christine.
Both shades are fairly similar to each other – but still oh so beautiful. Gorgeous eye look Christine.
I wish i were in my 20s or 30s, but then Iād be broke. These are superlative, and your looks with them are worthy of an art book.
Oh my, Vermillion is just gorgeous! Putting that on the wishlist.
