Clionadh Minerva Highlighter Review & Swatches
Minerva
Clionadh Minerva Powder Highlighter ($12.50 for 0.21 oz.) is a very lightpink base with subtle, warmer undertones paired with iridescent teal shimmer that gave it an intense, metallic finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation that applied fairly evenly to bare skin, but it seemed a little powdery and a touch thicker.
I felt like that texture translated a bit on my skin, so while it didn’t emphasize pores where it was the most reflective, it seemed to emphasize drier skin texture a bit. With a lighter hand or when applied over just-set foundation/skin, I didn’t haven’t that issue. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.

There's not much that describes the formula other than it has a "soft, buildable application." They tended to be quite pigmented--semi-opaque to fully opaque--with soft, smoother textures that weren't too dense nor too softly-pressed into the pan. For sheerer or more buildable application, I'd highly recommend using a lighter hand a less-dense brush to do so.
The texture was typically smooth, slightly dense and a bit thicker than most powder highlighters on the market, so they often needed to be really buffed and diffused on the skin. The finishes were often more intense, leaning toward metallic, and occasionally, they emphasized my skin's natural texture when worn at higher coverage levels. They wore between eight and nine hours on me for the most part.

I really love it. On you. On me, not so much. Too light and icy for my medium olive skintone, I fear. Beautiful option for those in the lighter categories, though!
Thank you, Nancy! 🙂
I really like this one. I am hoping that they expand their business and can actually produce and ship on a faster schedule. I received a notice that my first order shipped and they have been keeping me posted but it arrived in Chicago on October 23rd and there it has sat. I know that is not the companies fault since our postal issues are legendary, by now, but I just want me products, LOL!! I imagine with the election almost over, the postal system may miraculously be cured.
Wow this is so pretty! I wish this brand was more available world wide though, I hope uk or eu sites start stocking them soon as I’d buy this and many more of their products
