Cle de Peau’s Luminizing Face Enhancer formula is a powder highlighter for the face (that’s about all official description says). It is available as just a pan or in a bejeweled compact for $95 (when confronted with paying $40 for packaging, I cannot do it, so I always get the pans and keep them in a Z-Palette!). I’m a big fan of the formula for a subtle to light highlighter–it’s not ultra-metallic, shimmery, glittery, or shiny on the skin–and tends to complement satin to frost blushes exceptionally well without adding a lot of additional sheen. The texture was very soft, finely-milled, and smooth to the touch, which made it easy to apply to the skin as it diffused with minimal work and produced a subtle, but noticeable, glow to the skin. It looked more glowing than overtly shimmery on my skin tone, but it may be more noticeable on very fair skin tones due to the natural warmth of the powder. The powder lasted for eight hours on me skin, which is normal-to-dry.

Very pretty to look at. But I was expecting more of it on the skin.
Cle de Peau’s highlighters are subtler than the average highlighter so they aren’t for everyone!
And that, Christine, is the very quality that makes them so popular amongst older women. We want to glow without that spotlight appearance that many of the younger women can rock. Both are pretty looks. It’s just a matter of finding the product that creates the desired effect. For my everyday wear, it’s CdP. I’m a huge fan and have several of the CdP luminizers.
This is pretty–the color, shimmer, and geometric design. I like to use some of these subtle highlighters as all over face powders
It could definitely be used all over!
It’s also beautiful swept across your décolleté for evening–glow without glitter.
I love the subtly sparkling effect of this! Looks very pretty on the skin.
Agreed!
Huh. Looks like the limited edition spring ones from Wet n’ Wild.
Cle de Peau has had this style of highlighter for awhile, so they actually came well before 🙂
Layni, that was my first thought too!
I really like that these are so subtle that they can be used lightly all over. CdP’s versions are far more versatile than most.
I can definitely see this showing up more on fairer complexions, but I do like the subtle glow it gives on yours.
This imparts such a nice softly-lit natural glow! Love how it looks, but because I have the LM Highlight 01 I’ll be passing on this. Hard to do because it really is very becoming!
Very pretty! It reminds me a lot of Dior Amber Diamond!
Hi Christine, This is absolutely gorgeous I own three Golden Apricot, Delicate pink and Sand Beige. I plan on getting Almond but just not right now. I think it is a little bit lighter than Sand Beige which one do you prefer out of the two. This is by far my favorite brand for a highlighter & it looks beautiful on you.
It’s certainly pretty! I wish they weren’t so expensive!
It certainly blends in so well that I can’t tell that it’s there – which is really good, because you don’t want glitz all over your face.
Just beautiful! Some day I might just have to buy one of CdP’s luminizers. So far I’ve not seen one I didn’t like.
