Charlotte Tilbury Too Bad I'm Bad & Show Girl Hollywood Lips Matte Liquid Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Too Bad I'm Bad
Charlotte Tilbury Too Bad I’m Bad Hollywood Lips Matte Liquid Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a medium, pinky coral with soft, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had opaque color coverage that applied evenly across the lips, but the color “split” along my deeper lip lines so it was not the most flattering texture on. The liquid lipstick had a velvety, airy, mousse-like consistency that glided across with ease and never felt wet. The “dry down” isn’t like your typical liquid lipstick, as it did not set to a transfer-proof finish and felt a touch tacky whenever I pressed my lips together. It wore well for four and a half hours with color that gathered in my lip lines over time, while the formula was neither drying nor hydrating.

Formula Overview
$34.00/0.24 oz. - $141.67 Per Ounce
The formula is described as having the glide "like a gloss" with a "soft-focus matte" finish that will "nurture your lips like a cream" while having "full coverage." The texture of the formula was mousse-like without a lot of slip or wetness; it definitely felt more velvety and smooth with an airy quality to its "thickness." The color spread comfortably across the lips and typically yielded semi-opaque to opaque coverage that went on evenly but sometimes settled into my lip lines.
I did not find them to be particularly long-wearing--more like a standard bullet lipstick than a more traditional liquid lipstick, which was likely due to the fact that these never fully set or dried down on me. They had a semi-matte to satin finish that wore down to a matte finish (after two to three hours). The wear ranged from three to five hours on me and was fairly comfortable, though I would not describe the formula as hydrating.
The applicator is supposed to be like a stiletto heel, and it had a very steep angle that I did not find hugged my lips as well as the brand seemed to design it to--there are a lot of other doe-foot-like applicators that are more curved now to hug the lips that have been easier to use. The steepness of Charlotte Tilbury's applicator is what made it harder to apply for me, and I ended up using the other side for a lot of my upper lip.
The formula had a sweet, vanilla scent that was slightly noticeable on the lips but no discernible taste.

Too Bad I'm Bad
PPermanent. $34.00.
Show Girl
Charlotte Tilbury Show Girl Hollywood Lips Matte Liquid Lipstick ($34.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a medium-dark plum with neutrla-to-warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. The pigmentation was opaque, while the consistency was mousse-like, velvety, and airy on the lips, so it was comfortable to wear and spread easily across the lips. It did not seem quite as “dry” as other shades, so there was a bit more of a sheen initially but it disappeared within an hour and a half of wear. The color lasted for a solid five hours but had color separate around my lip lines over time.

Yeah, sounds like the Hard Candy formula. I like the shade Too Bad I’m Bad.
Good to know!
Show Girl is pretty but lots of dupes!
Phew!
I have NARS Kelly,Givenchy Brun Createur,Tarte Set Sail and Island Life so I think I’m set with dupes for these 2.Money saved??❣️
Oh, yeah, you’re covered!
Great shades! Pretty sure I’ve got enough similar types of lipstick that I don’t need Showgirl. However, Too Bad I’m Bad is not something I can think of having a dupe for already. Love that it has a dusky coral tone to it. Very summer-fall transitional.
I am surprised you don’t have something similar to Too Bad I’m Bad!
I purchased “Too Bad I’m Bad” yesterday, and I’m very happy with it. Looking at my monitor, it looks very coral on your photo, but it reads warm rose on my lips, not at all coral. I really like the texture, very mousse like and comfortable to wear.. The color seemed to deepen as it dried down– over several minutes.
I could not decide on which color to buy
“Show Girl” was too dark. I also liked “Dolly Bird” and “Pin Up Pink”, but the other nudes read too brown for me.
How are you liking the way it wears down/away? I wish they were longer wearing and more flattering on the lips.
Yeah, not so long wearing, but fairly comfortable to reapply, and no piling.
I’m not a fan of the really dry matte look though these look nicer than most I’ve seen. It’s pass for me.
Show Girl looks lovely on you, Christine.
I LOVE Show Girl! How pretty!
This is an expensive lip gloss, with lots of dupes and sort of reasonable ratings. The colours are quite pretty for summer/autumn and you would certainly get a lot of wear out of them.
Too Bad I’m Bad was the only one I was interested in, but pass for me after this review. I’m not happy that it settles into lip lines after 4 hours, I can only imagine how little it would take before it starts to settle into my lip lines.
I like Show Girl but I don’t think I’ll buy it. I like to try the more expensive lipsticks on before buying, and I can only get CT online here. I’ll check the dupes instead. Maybe I’ll find and like a cheaper one.
