Pillow Talk Dreams #1

Pillow Talk Dreams #3
Pillow Talk Dreams #3 is a medium copper with warm, rosy undertones and a sparkly finish. It had a slightly emollient feel, which made it feel firmer in the pan, but it wasn’t stiff to pick up or to blend out, though there was light fallout. It had mostly opaque, buildable color payoff that lasted well for eight hours before fading and had light fallout over time.

Pillow Talk Dreams #4
Pillow Talk Dreams #4 is a deep brown with subtle, warm red undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that was buildable, while the texture was smooth, velvety, and blendable though best over a drier base as it seemed more prone to darkening over any tackiness. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

This looks like a very pretty palette. I like that the colors are a deeper, richer take on the original Pillow Talk palette without sacrificing on quality. I have the original Pillow Talk palette, so I don’t think I need this one, too.
This one could have been a great little quad had the 1st and 3rd shades been less close in their depths once applied. As it is, it doesn’t call to me.
It’s quite a monochrome colour story here, with deeper and richer shades. The quality is there, but personally I am not really a fan.
I have the 12 pan Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk palette so it looks like I have these shades already.
All the shades are a bit too warm for me but I can see this being a great staple type quad for a lot of people, especially in summer, with all those warm, sun-tanny type shades.
While I like the palette, I think too dupeable within my stash.
I am going to sound like a broken record here but I don’t love CT shadows and I crack up that she is riding Pillow Talk into the ground. I don’t have anything against CT and have a lot of her lipsticks in all their finishes. I did just buy her new highlighter in the fairest shade. I haven’t received it yet, having only purchased it day before yesterday. I also picked up a lipstick in the shade M.I.KISS. I am slowly but surely going to purchase most of the range. Between those and PMGL I and my daughter, are getting rid of our other lippies and only keeping the ones from prestige/higher end brands. When I did my last big lipstick declutter, I noted that a lot of the lipsticks that had gone bad, were drugstore lipsticks. I don’t have any idea why that would be but in my collection, that was the finding. I also frequently don’t love the taste of drugstore lipsticks. I know it is a gross generalization but it is what it is!
