Chanel Revelation (63) Le Blush Creme de Chanel ($38.00 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “shimmering soft pink.” It’s a light-medium pink with warm undertones and a satiny finish, though it looks like a healthy matte. MAC Royal Sunset is a powder and is lighter, warmer. Chanel Rose Initiale is powder and not as warm-toned. See comparison swatches.

This is the last of the Chanel blushes that released this fall, and I’m so happy to find that it’s just as high quality as the other five shades I’ve tested. There’s not a dud within the range, and I think Chanel did an excellent job with this new formula. Revelation is nicely pigmented with color that is true-to-pan but can be applied as a soft, sheer layer or more heavily for richer, more opaque color coverage. I love that they’re versatile in pigmentation, so they can work for fairer complexions as well as deeper skin tones. The consistency is lightly creamy in the pan but quickly turns to powder once it touches the skin. It remains blendable, though, and it doesn’t turn powdery. This shade wore well for seven and a half hours but was noticeably faded after eight and a half hours, which is slightly shorter wear than other shades in the formula.

I love this one. Since I’m about NC15 in the winter, I think this would be great for an easy, everyday dewy look. Thanks for reviewing these so thoroughly!

I have this color and love it! I generally don’t go for cream blushes, but I love the texture of these. I think this shade would look fabulous on most complexions!

After all the reviews so far, this is my favourite colour. Even though it didn’t have the longevity of the other (A vs A+), i love the perfect pink tone without the powdery, cotton-candy look. This one is has my name, (and visa number), written all over it.

This color is now my every day blush. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments. Anyone on the fence about these should GRAB them. They are that awesome.

Hey Christine! This may seem like a silly question, but I’m new to the world of high end makeup. I was wondering if this collection, although for fall 2013, will be available for Christmas? I know that revelation and presage are LE, but do you know if the rest are only available for the fall season itself? Thank you so much for the thoughtful reviews!

Hi Theresa!

They are being added to the permanent range (the ones not marked LE), so they will be around indefinitely ๐Ÿ™‚ You may find that they get temporarily sold out – e.g. they sell faster than they can be replaced, but Chanel should replenish stock as necessary.

Okay I need this one. What a gorgeous color and so glad the quality is there. This will be a perfect summer blush.
Speaking of summer blushes, will you be reviewing the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelรฉes?
Thank you so much for all your hard work!
