Chanel Les Chaines de Chanel Illuminating Blush Powder Review & Swatches
Les Chaines de Chanel
Chanel Les Chaines de Chanel Illuminating Blush Powder ($70.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark, reddish-copper with warm undertones and a luminous finish. The texture was smooth, dense without being overly firm, and blendable on bare skin or applied over foundation. It had opaque color coverage that was picked up well with a brush and diffused readily across my skin.
The finish was glowing but not overtly shimmery, and it seemed to “melt” as I buffed out the powder over my skin. This shade lasted nicely for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

The shade is stunning, as is the design. It’s a definite buy for me, inspite of owning a dupe or two listed. I’m curious what noticeable difference there is wearing this illuminating blush on the eyes vs. the Cuivre Rose single.
Perfection! This is so softly natural looking. Like, lit from within type of natural. But because I do have Alezane high up on my WL, I will likely just stick to getting that at some point. They are SUPER close!
Exactly: Alezane. Nancy, we typically love the same things. I promise, you’ll love Alezane.
This is really lovely. A definite contender. The only dupe I have is the Charlotte Tilbury, “Walk of Shame”, which I don’t really love. I have trouble blending it out naturally so I haven’t used it past the first week that I had it. I do love that shade though and I really like coordinating my blush and lipstick, even more so than my eyeshadow.
I thought this blush would be a winner and it is! Such a beautiful shade and the texture and finish is perfect.
This blush looks amazing , so happy it got a good review .
It looks gorgeous on you Christine !
How does this blush compare to the new At Night from Hourglass? Finish, and overall application?
Hi Laura!
You can use the Compare Any Two tool, which is right on this page, to compare any two shades I’ve swatched!

Thanks so much! They are quite similar! I think I’m glad I ordered Hourglass for now-I’ll see how I like it when I apply it! Thanks Christine!
Ok this is definitely awakened something in me And I’m not happy about it. It soo beautiful but so expensive:( I have a Laura Mercier blush called winter bloom that I think is pretty close and I will have to live with that. But Chanel’s presentation of the product just makes it so hard to resist ?
