The Joues Contraste formula is supposed to have “buildable coverage, from natural to dramatic” with a “flattering radiance” and “silky texture.” The pigmentation ranges from semi-sheer to fully opaque, depending on technique and skin tone, but it seemed exactly as described–buildable–without having to pile it on or spend too long sheering it out. It had an extremely smooth, silky consistency that blended out beautifully on the skin while yielding a soft sheen that didn’t emphasize pores but added a lovely glow to the skin. On me, the blush lasted for eight hours before it started to fade.

I tried this one on at the counter on Friday and loved it! I thought it was going to blend into my NC30 skintone, but it just gave the most natural flush with a hint of rose color. I love Chanel’s JC blushes. I picked up this one and the Vibration one. It think it’s time to start destashing all my other blushes… LOL. I mean, I only have two cheeks.

It looks gorgeous on you! Such a stunning blush! I must have it in my life! Do you know if this came out with a particular collection? I have been trying to find it where I live but cant!

This sure is a nice one! Like a cross between a neutral blush and a soft bronzer. I really love it, although it may be a little too light on me.
Just found out on Saturday that I also am matched (and even better!) to MAC Pro Longwear Foundation in NC40. I definitely love the finish on Pro Longwear much better because it’s got a dewy-ness and more moist feel to it once on. I would happily return my SFL for it, but that would feel unethical on my part, no?

So far, I’ve only used it around 6-7 times. The first time that I used it, it went on beautifully, but at the end of that day, when I went to remove it, my face looked as if it had shriveled up and aged 10 years! After that I’ve been adding a bit of Strobe Cream to make it not THAT dry, whereas Pro Longwear seems much moister.

Christine, the blush looks beautiful on you. I bought it and wear it on top of two other Chanel blushes. It gives my fair skin a nice healthy glow.

I want to say no but this is beautiful! I don’t have anything like it. At first I was debating this or Coups de Minuit but I like that this has more color and this has double the product. Looks like a perfect everyday easy blush.

Hello Christine! It sounds mad but it is exactly the colour I’ve been looking for years!! A natural nude blush, not too brown, not too pink! I’m searching it everywhere, but it seems it’s not available on Spain 🙁 not in the counter neither online.. so sad! And just saw the US version of sephora online doesn’t carry Chanel anymore, do you know why?
Please please Chanel people, bring Golden Sun to Spain!!!!
Enjoy yours Christine!! 🙂

I think this will suit my Asian fair skin and perfect if I just want to have a no makeup makeup look:) but it can’t be used as a bronzer right?
