Chanel Fetiche Rouge Coco Shine
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Fetiche
Chanel Fetiche (66) Rouge Coco Shine ($32.00 for 0.10 oz.) is is a semi-sheer pinky-plum with subtle gold micro-shimmer and a glossy shine. The color applies evenly and imparts enough color that it changes the natural lip color but still retains the translucency expected of the formula. MAC Craving is similar in color but more opaque and a touch redder.
I only get an hour and half to two hours of wear with Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shines, though, which is below average for a lipstick–and Chanel says these have “lasting moisturizing shine.” Rouge Coco shines feel more like lip balm when applied, because they have an emollient base that enables them to glide on, but I don’t find them very moisturizing. They are not drying, but they don’t impart quite as much moisture as you’d expect. I wish the product contained a bit more (like the Rouge Cocos), because the creaminess of the formula (combined with sheerer color and need for regular reapplication) makes it easy to overapply.

I think this is actually tempting me a little.
Yes! It’s also the first time i’m interested in a rouge coco shine!
Looks pretty on you, but it’s too sheer for me! But I love the Coco Shine range for their moisturizing properties.
I almost bought this one the other day but picked up Deauville instead. I also own Evasion. I really like these because I’m not a lipstick person, but really enjoy balms & glosses. I agree with the lasting power though-it could be a bit longer. Thanks for the great review & pics!
I’ve got this one 6 months ago, and the color is the best! if you want a new lipstick make it this one!
The shade is quite sheer and soft…perfect for office wear!! 🙂
Did this one just come out as a new color? or was it there when the new line launched? I don’t remember seeing it. Very Pretty
No, this isn’t a new color!
I don’t like it when lipsticks are flat at the top, especially the kind that I don’t feel I use a brush for (the sheerer kind, or if I’ve used lipliner). It doesn’t do me any favors when applying!
Going to add this to my list! I already love Dior Addicts but I still want to give Rouge Coco Shines a chance and this looks like a lovely color 🙂
YSL Succulent Pomegranate gloss stick looks very close to this 🙂
Oh that is beautiful, exactly the color and sheerness that I want. If only it wasn’t scented and lasted a little longer.
Love the colour and it is really beautiful on you but for that price, I’d want a bit more lasting power than this seems to have.
Your blush is so pretty with this lipcolor!! What is it?
it looks GORGEOUS on you!
Thanks, Christina!
I got this 3 months ago and I love the colour! It’s so pretty even on my skintone (i’m mid brown), and I love the way it feels when I apply it. Pity it lasts only for an hour or so but I don’t mind the reapplying bit. and btw it looks super gorgeous on you 🙂
Doesn’t seem all that unique to me. That plus the price & short wear make this a pass for me.
This looks amazing on you, I just hate that it doesn’t last all that long so I’ll skip this one, but still it is very pretty!
Wow it looks so good!! Do you think you’ll keep using it but keep reapplying or is it not worth the effort??
No, I wouldn’t use these personally. I hate reapplying lipstick or gloss.
Do they have a strong scent? (Stronger than the regular Rouge Cocos?)
About the same, maybe less.
I wish you could review Flying Cloud, Christine, but sadly it’s not available in the US. It’s the only lipstick I’ve reached for this summer so far, i just adore it!
It looks gorgeous on you! I am going to find out this Chanel Fetiche Rouge Coco Shine!
