Chanel Fall/Winter 2020 Collection is now available and includes a mix of eye and lip products. Here are swatches of three eyeshadow quads (two of the new ones are inspired by Candeur et Experience, which I’ve re-swatched as I received a new one with this collection), four lip colors, and two eyeliners…

And so I do like these color combos, provided that the shades do much better in lid application vs swatches for the first two quads. The third one looks excellent, though!
As for the lip products, I love Attraction! Perfect wintery shade for me. Reminds me of hot cocoa.
Psyche is a stunning eye liner!

I would love a 10-pan palette work these shades. In an article in Marie Claire, Lucia Pica said she designs eyeshadow quads in the same colour family because she wants them to be mixable together, so you can graduate the intensity. To her, it’s a more modern way of using the full colours. It’s a beautiful collection. I plan to get the Candeur et Persuasion quad and the Psyche eyeliner, and maybe Idyllique lipstick. I have Candeur et Experience – it’s my most used Chanel eyeshadow palette, so delighted to see a release of complementary palettes. I’m waiting to see a swatch of the Baume Essentiel in Rosee, a highlighter, that is also part of this collection.

I agree here. I like 3 of the 4 shades. I don’t know why but Chanel likes throwing a brown one in there. These red shades are gorgeous.

See my comment under the Dior post today and you will know why I am in love with all these products. I hope they perform well. It definitely is the year of the “rose”. Several of these palettes would work well with Empriente du Desert palette which is a fall/winter favorite for me. A nice way to mix the rose/red tones with the brown/green tones without looking like a Christmas tree, LOL!

I remember what a jolt it was when Lucia Pica first introduced Candeur et Expérience four years ago. That beautiful brick red! Wow! I found it so easy to wear when combined with the rich browns that made up the rest of the quad that it quickly became one of my all time favorite palettes. I experienced the same kind of exciting jolt when I saw Lucia Pica’s fall collection and, after seeing a few YouTube tutorials/reviews, I promptly ordered the quad in Candeur et Provocation, Baume Essentiel in Rosée, and the RC Flash in Flushed. I love Lucia Pica’s concept of gradients—with each shade merging seamlessly one into the other—and agree that it is so much more modern and fresh than obvious color blocking. This will most probably be a rather polarizing collection with people either loving it or hating it. I personally love it and think I can wear it without looking like I have conjunctivitis!

All of these quads are an easy pass for me. I looked at Candeur et Experience when it came out a few years ago (when there was still a Chanel counter where I live) even though I knew it wouldn’t be for me and I was right. Ditto the other 2 quads, which is a relief since now, getting my grabby mitts on Chanel is a challenge.

I am so, so disappointed with the colour story of these quads – 3 quads and not one single genuine autumn story – where are the golds, olive shades, subtle browns, bronze colours?
To me, nearly every quad looks the same – just with its shades rearranged in different spots.

These palettes look like the spring collection shades just darker. I think I have a lot of them. I do want flushed and romance — impatiently checking nordy for it.

I’m so tired of red and pink for the eyes. Red is a very editorial look and these raspberry pinks make me look like I’ve been crying. I’ll pass.

I have green eyes and pale skin with pink undertones and red eyeshadow makes me look like I’ve been punched or crying. I want flushed, tho! Psyche might be just brown enough too

Here we go with reds again. I am getting older, but I still love to wear eyeshadow . Bronze I love, however, red and Burgundy shadows just make me look tired. Some purples and plums, which I used to love, now accentuate my under eye shadows, IMO.
I used to indulge in Chanel quad shadows quite a bit, and found them somewhat dry textured, compared to PMG and ND shadows. After discovering those 2 brands, I don’t think I will ever go back to Chanel again– for eyeshadow. Still love their foundations and lipsticks though!
