Chanel Candeur et Provocation (362) Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow ($62.00 for 0.07 oz.) is a new eyeshadow palette that includes one matte eyeshadow and three satin or pearl eyeshadows. There are only a few brands that really embrace and utilize lower shimmer finishes, and one of those brands is Chanel. For those who want a bit of an amped up matte, I think these deliver on that finish. Three of the four shades were pigmented, while one was sheerer and needed to be applied with a dampened brush or fingertip to fix. All four shades were very soft and blendable with decent wear.
I did feel like these had a tendency to muddy a bit, especially the two pinks, when I tried using all four shades together, and the brown seemed too warm-toned to pair harmoniously with the three pink shades.
