Chanel Elise, Ina, Emilienne Rouge Coco Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick
Chanel Elise (448) Rouge Coco Lipstick ($35.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “pink lilac.” It’s a softened, medium pink with cool undertones and a subtle, pearly sheen. It had semi-opaque coverage with a fair amount of translucency; if you have more pigmented lips than myself, you may find it even less noticeable applied. The texture was lightweight, emollient, and lightly hydrating, though it lasted two and a half hours and didn’t apply evenly. NARS Marisa (P, $32.00) is more opaque, lighter. Givenchy Hibiscus Exclusif (302) (P, $36.00) is brighter. Guerlain Geraldine (77) (P, $51.00) is brighter. Estee Lauder Powerful (P, $30.00) is more opaque, lighter. MAC What a Feeling! (LE, $20.00) is lighter. Too Faced Razzle Dazzle Rose (P, $22.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Chanel Ina (450) Rouge Coco Lipstick ($35.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as a “bright fuchsia.” It’s an iridescent fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a pearly finish. This shade had less of a luminous or glossy finish, and instead, it had more that reflective sheen you get from shimmer or frost. The coverage was only semi-sheer to semi-opaque. It was neither drying nor hydrating and lasted for two and a half hours on me. Tom Ford Beauty Francesco (LE, $32.00) is more opaque, brighter. Tom Ford Beauty John (LE, $32.00) is brighter, more shimmery. Bobbi Brown Hot Berry (P, $26.00) is darker, brighter. NARS Janet (P, $32.00) is darker. Chanel Viva (95) (LE, $35.00) is similar. MAC Quite the Thing! (LE, $17.00) is darker. MAC Heavenly Hybrid (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery. MAC Feeling Amorous? (LE, $20.00) is brighter. MAC Pink Poodle (DC, $16.00) is brighter, lighter. Revlon Fuchsia Shock (P, $7.99) is similar. Revlon Sorbet (P, $7.49) is redder. MAC Lickable (P, $16.00) is less shimmery. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
Chanel Emilienne (452) Rouge Coco Lipstick ($35.00 for 0.12 oz.) is described as an “intense pink violet.” It’s a muted, reddish-pink with subtle fuchsia and pink pearl. It had semi-opaque coverage with some translucency as the consistency was thinner but had some slip, so it was comfortable to wear. It wore well for four hours and was lightly hydrating. Guerlain Very Pink (360) (P, $37.00) is lighter. Guerlain Gladys (78) (P, $51.00) is darker. Guerlain Rose Grenat (864) (LE, $51.00) is darker. YSL Rose Asarine (34) (P, $34.00) is warmer. MAC Feeling Amorous? (LE, $20.00) is lighter. Too Faced Jelly Bean (P, $22.00) is brighter. Revlon Whimsical (115) (P, $8.99) is cooler-toned. Guerlain Illusion (660) (LE, $35.00) is darker. Chanel Suspense (P, $35.00) is similar. Revlon Sorbet (P, $7.49) is cooler-toned. NARS Jardin des Plantes (P, $25.00) is more matte. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

I like Elise the most out of these three – it looks bright enough with a slight sheen. This color would look great with any eye look and a nice shade to wear all year round.
I bet it would!
It’s interesting how Emilienne looks on you and also in your photos. I just reviewed it on my blog yesterday and the color appears much more violet/fuchsia in my photos….not to mention it totally looks different when applied to brown pigmented lips
Since Chanel’s formula is thinner and not opaque, the natural pigmentation of your lips will change the end result!
I was hoping for slighty better reviews, but I still think they all look really pretty.
Chanel knows how to pick colors for sure!
Pass on all! Pretty colors. The last did okay. But, unless, I find the shade really unique, for that price, I expect and “A”! 🙂
I think there are too many better shades at this price point!
These are all beautiful colors for spring and summer. Ina is my favorite though. I just love that color!
They are perfectly timed for the season!
Emilienne is amazing! I love the color.
Yay!
I do love bright pinks, and these are pretty. Dupable, though. The kind of remind me of some of UD’s Sheer Revolutions.
Definitely see what you mean about being similar to the Sheer Revolutions!
I like the look of Emilienne – it’s a little different to the pink lippies I already have.
It is a little different than your average fuchsia!
Ugh, not impressed, the pigmentation looks patchy For $35, these need to be A rated. There are a lot better options for cheaper price
I wish they were better!
They all look pretty on you, Christine! I’m intrigued by the multi hued Emiliene, but the uneven sheerness makes me skeptical.
Thanks, Jilly! Some of the Rouge Cocos are nice, but a lot of them are misses.
Awww my name (Elise) wasn’t good enough for an A XD
Oh well the color doesn’t suit me anyways 😉
I hope there will be more products with my name that is better quality lol so i have an excuse to buy them…
Hopefully <3
I like the name “Emilienne”
At least you like the name 😛
