Chanel Bikini Peach (257) Glossimer Review, Photos, Swatches

Soft Pink Lips for Summer

Chanel Les Pop-Up de Chanel Collection launches a new, but lonesome, shade of glossimer in Bikini Peach (#257). It’s a creamy, milky pink with yellow undertones and a soft, champagne shimmer with a glossy sheen. I can’t remember owning other creamy glossimers, so it’s an interesting shade for me. Despite its creaminess, it doesn’t settle too much into lip lines, and from a normal viewing distance, it just looks like a soft pink lip. I like that there’s enough color that it doesn’t read pasty on my warmer skin tone, as many milky pinks often do. It’s a fun, easy-to-wear shade that can be worn alone or layered over a lipstick, depending on what you’re going for.

Recommendation: If you love a dazzling, moisturizing lip gloss in a milky pink shade, you may like this one. It’s suitable for both cool and warm skin tones, because it is more of a neutral, if slightly warm, pink.

yeah this is what I like about the whole face swatch. Obviously your not wearing much makeup but the color does look pretty on you and would look better if you did stronger eyes and with the face swatch I now know to do that whereas with just the lips I couldn’t see what the color was doing to the rest of your face (like if it washes you out) or what it needs to look even better. To be honest I have NEVER seen a bad lip swatch on you so that just the lips alone were no help when EVERYTHING looks so freakin good on your lips aone. sorry for the rant just wanted to reiterate how much we appreciate them!!!

I am going to leave this one, since it’s milkier than I would prefer. When I went to Saks last week, I forgot to mention that in connection with getting the Nouvelle Vague, I also splurged and got the new Aqualumiere Brilliant Levres Lipgloss in 727 – Bondo Beach. So pretty! Love the coral/orange hint with shimmer of gold and a touch of pink. No milkiness here! Sheer, but slightly vibrant and perfect for brightening any face! I absolutely LOVE the gel-like texture and it stays on for a couple hourse, provided you use a straw to sip your water, tea or coffee. :0

Oh, we do not have that here in Germany 🙁 would be exactly what I am looking for – brightening, gold, pink, coral. It might arrive here though. Will have a look tommorow.

I really like this colour! I only own one Chanel glossimer in Wild Rose which is a very pretty neutral. I only wish that Chanel glosses had a better scent, but that won`t stop me from buying them!

I absolutely LOVE Chanel glossimers. I am addicted to them. After viewing the pics
I knew I had to have this glossimer. It reminds me of an old shade of glossimer
that was discontinued.

OMG! Just got my Chanel Bikini Peach glossimer Saturday. I
love it! Finally, a Chanel lip gloss like the one I had before.
The old gloss was named Sesame I believe. I loved that color. It
was gorgeous and discontinued shortly I purchased it. I am so
happy to see tha Chanel has come out with a glossimer in that
same milky pink. Yay! for glossimers:)

I tried this on last night and I loved it! But I am *trying* not to buy any more glosses for awhile 🙁 I’m so tempted to go back to Nordstrom during my lunch break today….hmmmmm

I saw this in-store and loved it. Any idea how it compares to their glossimer in Sesame? The counter was sold out so I couldn’t compare!

This looks gorgeous over Guerlain Rouge Automatique 161 “Cherry Blossom”. Takes it from a bit too milky-looking to that tres chic not too pink, not too nude, really expensive looking perfect pink!
