Chanel Attirance Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss ($32.00 for 0.28 fl. oz.) is described as a “coppery beige.” It’s a peach and copper-shimmered orange-brown. It’s orange without being loudmouth orange; it’s not neon or bold, as the orange is tempered by warm brown undertones. Bobbi Brown Canary is more golden, less color in its base. Chanel Calypso is redder, more opaque, and less shimmery. MAC Secret Identity is a bit more orange. NARS Hopi is browner.

Attirance has semi-opaque color coverage; there’s a lot of shimmer, while the base color adds warmth and gives lips a more orange appearance. I still saw some translucency to the color, so I wouldn’t call it opaque, though the formula is supposed to be “color-rich,” non-sticky, and have “high-shine.” Chanel nailed the glossiness; Attirance is incredibly high-shine and reflective. It has comfortable, long-wearing (five hours), and hydrating feel on the lips.

I just love this range, and Attirance (a well-chosen name!) speaks to me (I have Calypso and I love it to pieces, so a second gloss that’s a bit like it would be a good thing). I thought it was limited edition though?
I also like how the colour of the gloss compliments that of your earrings, Christine!

Hello! i work at a Chanel counter, and this specific gloss is limited edition, unfortunately. Such a great color, and it looks fantastic on you, Christine!

After reading this review (and seeing how longwearing Chanel glosses seem to be) I’ve decided I want to get one and try it out… I don’t have any Chanel counters near me so I will be ordering one online. Do you know of any they have that are similar to MAC’s Cultured or Bountiful? Those are the kind of colors I usually go for. Thanks!

so pretty, but that price point is RIDICULOUS. I have 2 tubes of gloss similar to that , i got them for about $3..:/.. one is by black radiance ( same co as wet n wild) and sinful colors which can be found at walgreens too

As allways another pretty product from Chanel 😀 however I´m more interested in buying Rouge Allure gloss in Emoi right now, but still this is nice.
