Catrice Coral Me Maybe Illuminating Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Coral Me Maybe
Catrice Coral Me Maybe Illuminating Blush ($5.99 for 0.16 oz.) is a pop of light-medium pink-coral with warm undertones and fine, flecks of gold shimmer strewn on top of a more matte finish. It appeared more satiny on the skin, once I had a chance to blend and buff the powder onto my cheeks, but it definitely had a subtler finish, which would make it ideal for someone who doesn’t like a lot of noticeable shimmer in their cheek color.
The Illuminating Blush formula is supposed to have a mix of “subtle shimmer” and a “light pearl” that adds color and a “soft glow” to the cheeks. The consistency was soft but powdery, a little drier and looser overall, so it was prone to sheering out and was harder to build-up coverage from its naturally medium coverage level, but it was possible with three to four layers. I noticed fading around the edges after six and a half hours of wear.

Pretty shade. But yikes! 3-4 layers in order to get this level of coverage? That’s not so good considering that just ONE layer of MAC Sweet Visions gives me a lovely coral-pink blush on my cheeks!
Yeah, it’ll be better for someone who likes sheerer coverage!
Aw, shame it’s no better than a C.
I hear ya!
Wow, what a real bummer that the formula is so poor! Looks like a really pretty colour!
It’ll work best for someone who likes sheerer blush + has a lighter skin tone!
I think it would work best for fair people with the coverage.
I agree, Erin!
I think it’s pretty too : )
It is!
Pretty shade, but it’s a shame you have to work so hard to build up the coverage.
I wish it was a bit more pigmented!
That’s interesting.
My Catrice Blush Artistry Palette in “Corall I Need” has a similar shade that’s completely matte & gives me no problems in application. Actually I’m impressed with all 3 shades in that palette. I’ve heard Catrice’s blushes that are in the rectangular packaging are the best quality but I’ve not tried them. Still, that blush looks gorgeous on you and looks to be a good budget choice.
That’s great!
I like a sheer blush that I won’t look like a clown wearing, especially during the day. The color is pretty and the price is a bargain.
That’s great!
Would want to try.
The creamy texture of this blush appears illuminating.
By looking at the swatch,it appears that it will create a fresh look on the face.
It would!
