I usually do eyes first, so eyeshadow, brows, mascara, and then eyeliner. Following that, foundation, blush or setting powder (the more shimmery the blush, the more likely I am to apply it prior to setting powder), and finally any lip products.

I put some concealer on the back of my hand or on a metal palette, then use a very small, fluffy synthetic brush to apply and buff into place. If it’s a flakier area, then I may use a flatter concealer brush and barely press a damp sponge against the area.

For me, the key is really to keep a thicker, tackier lip balm on them (my go-to is Sara Happ The Lip Slip) and then try not to exfoliate until they are more healed.
