I’ve never intentionally layered any fragrances. When I buy a scent, it’s because I like it “as is”. I guess that’s why I don’t layer blush colours or even lipsticks, for that matter.
Okay. Don’t be mean about this. I love Jessica Simpson Fancy Love. It is almost a masculine fragrance.
I also love Good Chemistry Sugar Berry, which smells like Cotton Candy.
I spray Fancy Love first & then mist Sugar Berry over top.
I love it! And, I never go out that someone does not tell me how good I smell.
Silly scents to real fragrance people, but I love them.
I’m a real fragrance person and I wear what I like. Even if it’s a reasonable gourmand fragrance. I don’t see anything wrong with your fragrance combination. I own Fancy also and it’s sitting beside my expensive perfumes.
Replica By the Fireplace and Autumn Vibes. It really worked well to balance the sugary sweetness of BTF with the dryness of AV. I recommend!
Off the top of my head, all I can think of is an orange/citrusy vial with the same brand (cannot find either vial around here, so I don’t remember the brand name!) vanilla for a creamsicle vibe. Fun for summer, and very fresh. That was several years ago, though!
I find myself constantly adding my single layer marshmallow notes on top of sooooo many of my perfumes!
I don’t layer perfumes myself, mainly because I like the perfume chosen for the day as is.
HA!!! Once again, we seem to be thinking with the same brain!
Just today, but it was by accident — sprayed a sample of Tom Ford F*cking Fabulous, and it was so noxious that I almost immediately washed it off. Some still lingered, so I threw on by Kilian’s Intoxicated over it. Intoxicated is much nicer by itself, but it still cut the nasty smell of the Tom Ford perfume.
This weekend I brought a cheap perfume oil from Al Rehab on Amazon. Al Rehab -Arab perfume oils smell great and last a long time. The one I just received named “Soft” smells just like one of my niche high priced perfumes. Xerjoff’s Symphonium- a chocolate, musk and orange scent. The two layered together well and the oil helped the perfume to last longer. Good combo!
Don’t usually layer fragrances because I’m not that great mixing scents. I do frequently layer with matching body products like lotion, body creams or hair perfumes. Since my perfume wardrobe is large I wear one fragrance during the day and switch at night to a stronger or different fragrance. So I guess they may layer a little.
I love each fragrance of mine on it’s own I wouldn’t want to alter them.
Prada Candy and Victoria’s Secret Bare Vanilla. A natural combination imo!
