If I take any freestyle eyeshadow palettes, I put a layer of bubblewrap between the lid and the eyeshadows (or foam or paper towel). Then I wrap the palettes in a shirt or sweater. I keep powders in one makeup bag, and then eyeliners and brushes in another. Liquids/creams go in a quart-sized...

If it’s a really short trip and I don’t have a good palette to test (something that seems high quality/from a reliable brand), then I’ll usually wear products I’ve already tested (and that’s unusual, haha!).
