Savannah Love
By Terry Savannah Love Sun Designer Palette ($82.00 for 0.53 oz.) includes six powder blushes–three that are a little bolder and more shimmery and three more that are more neutral. The first five powders were really lovely, but the last shade was incredibly difficult to blend out, and the deeper color of it made it glaringly obvious!

Savannah Love #1
Savannah Love #1 is a light-medium pink with warm, yellow undertones and a fine, pearly sheen. It had medium, buildable pigmentation with a soft, silky, and finely-milled texture that kicked up a little excess product in the pan but did not appear dry or dusty applied to the skin. The powder applied well to bare skin and gave a luminous finish that wasn’t frosted or overtly shimmery. It wore well for eight hours on me.

Savannah Love #2
Savannah Love #2 is a medium brown with warm, yellow undertones and a fine, golden shimmer. It had good pigmentation that was buildable to opaque coverage with just a smidgen more product layered on top. The powder was soft, smooth, and dense enough that it wasn’t powdery in the pan at all but still blended out easily on the skin. The more I blended out the cheek color, the more glowing the finish became. It lasted for eight and a half hours before fading on me.

Savannah Love #3
Savannah Love #3 is a medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The color payoff was mostly opaque, while the texture felt smooth, finely-milled, and silky to the touch. The blush blended out easily along the edges and kept its intensity on the skin, even when wore at sheerer coverage, it still looked similar to the pan color. On me, the blush wore well for nine hours before fading.

Savannah Love #4
Savannah Love #4 is a light, peachy-beige with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque color coverage paired with a very silky, blendable consistency that sat beautifully on the skin. The color is rather light, so it may not show up on all skin tones, but on my skin tone (light-medium), it gave a subtle color as it appeared to darken slightly a few minutes after initial application. It could be used to diffuse, mattify, or soften other shades in the palette. This shade wore well for eight hours on me.

Savannah Love #5
Savannah Love #5 is a muted, medium-dark reddish brown with subtle, warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had good pigmentation that applied evenly on the skin, and the color blended out without much work. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and smooth without being too soft that it became dusty in the pan. It lasted for eight and a half hours on me.

Savannah Love #6
Savannah Love #6 is a dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a soft shimmer. The texture was drier and looser, and it did not feel much like any of the shades in this palette nor did it feel like the formula used in other versions of this palette. It had good pigmentation, which was buildable to opaque coverage, but it was difficult to blend out. I experimented with application, and the best results I could achieve were when I used a fan brush and an ultra-light hand, then used a clean blush to diffuse the edges. The color lasted for eight and a half hours before fading on me.

I love this!
It is nice overall!
I was so intrigued with these last year, especially one of the palettes that suited me well. This summer, I’m not feeling the combos. Oh well. There’s always 2018. 🙂
That’s thinking positively 🙂
These palettes look amazing, but I think I’m actually more enamoured with the design than the actual colours (although there are some lovely colours). At this price point, I’m just going to admire it from afar! 🙂
Window shopping at its finest!
I’m thinking that one way to get #6 to work would be to apply #4 underneath it to give it something to help it blend out easier? But that’s for those buying it. I’m not, as I have some nice, solid dupes for the shades I do love, plus it overall runs a bit too light for me.
That would be a good idea – definitely one way to make it work!
I just bought this, looking forward to it arriving. I don’t think I’d really use the “C” graded shade, so the rest is worth having. I loved last years, and this looks interesting too.
Hope you love yours when you get it!
Not fond of that C shade either.. not because of the grade.
It’s undoubtedly lovely but that last bronze shade just kills it for me – something seems off about the tone as well as the texture. I feel like it’s too dark compared to the other shades and would need to be blended with something softer – which is doable of course, but I think I actually like the other one more, even those this one seems more wearable… h’mmm…
I thought it was an odd inclusion given this set is for lighter skin tones myself!
Agree 100%. It’s pretty much what is throwing me off the palette.
Bought it as soon as it popped up on Beautylish! I can’t wait to get my hands on it – it looks beautiful in your pictures. My pick last year was Light & Tan Vibes and they look different enough here that I feel warranted in getting both lol. Out of curiosity, do you have a preference for any one the palettes? I remember you said you favoured Savannah Love over Tropical Sunset in response to a similar question in your previous post. But how about compared to last year’s palettes?
I prefer last year’s palettes in general!
As much as I love the look of this, I just don’t see it working on my pale, pale self! I did consolation prize things today by ordering the lighter version from last year. Even better, SpaceNK has it on sale right now for $57 instead of the normal $82!!
Nice!!
Oh no! I love this one just as much as yesterday’s. I’m in trouble
Uh oh!
Even though I am fair I think I prefer the darker of the two Tropical Sunset
Glad one of them might work for you!
Just beautiful, but not quite the right shades for me…. it’s also fairly expensive too.
And they have to be the perfect shades for you at this price!
These are truly beautiful and I would love to get this one, but the zig-zag’s seem too challenging to dip your brush into. For the price I want more usability.
Totally understand, Michelle! 🙂
When I first saw this on Beautylish I was enamoured. I eventually broke down and bought the light one from last year, and haven’t had a single regret. I thought I was going to have to try to talk myself out of this one but it looks like I have so many dupes of the shades already that I don’t think it is going to be quite the struggle. Thanks for the review!
Definitely buying! I find that some of the shades from last years palette that i dont find wearable as a blush, work just as beautifully on the eyes as eyeshadow. Hopefully I can do the same with some of the datker shades in this palette!
This reminds me of Tan & Cruise Vibes that i got last year, I still love it, it’s so lovely for summer.
I quite like this palette except for the last shade, though might consider it for an eyeshadow. I have a number of dupes, so it’s a pass for me despite the 2 other bronzer shades suiting me better than last year’s palettes.
I bought this palette yesterday at Sephora (I bought both the #3 and #4). I was so exited about those new palettes ! The pictures online look so beautiful ! But I’m a quite disappointed. The new palette have a little chemical smell from the pan that the #1 and #2 from last year don’t have ! Have anybody noticed that ? Is that mean tha the formula may not be the same as last year ?
I didn’t notice any chemical scent!
