Bobbi Brown Honey, Papaya, Lilac Crushed Shine Jelly Sticks Reviews & Swatches
Honey
Bobbi Brown Honey Crushed Shine Jelly Stick ($29.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a muted, light-medium brown with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. The texture felt more yielding than others in the range, which resulted in a more emollient feel on my lips but not enough that it felt too slippery.
It had semi-sheer color payoff in one layer, which built up to medium coverage with a second layer. It wore well for two and a half hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.

Formula Overview
$29.00/0.1 oz. - $290.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "sheer, moisture-packed color" that yields a "popsicle tint" with a "soft shine finish." The formula felt like a more emollient version of their Crushed Lip Color, as it was more yielding but still not as emollient in feel going on as one might expect. It was rather balm-like, thin but not clingy, and didn't slide around too much.
They had sheer to semi-sheer, tinted color that did look "popsicle" like with some of the mid-depth and deeper shades. For the most part, the colors applied evenly, smoothly without tugging, and didn't emphasize my lip texture or catch on imperfections. They wore between two and four hours and were lightly hydrating.

Papaya
Bobbi Brown Papaya Crushed Shine Jelly Stick ($29.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark orange-red with subtle, warm undertones and a natural sheen. The texture felt lightweight, smooth, and had more of a light glide as it delivered an even layer of sheer coverage over my lips, but it never felt that emollient or creamy.
This shade was less flattering than others, though not in a way that was actually noticeable in person. It stayed on decently for three hours and felt lightly hydrating while worn.

Lilac
Bobbi Brown Lilac Crushed Shine Jelly Stick ($29.00 for 0.1 oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, cool undertones and a natural sheen. It appeared warmer on my lips, though obviously it may look different from person to person as it had sheerer coverage (as intended).
The consistency was lightweight, thin but not clingy, and had just enough glide that it didn’t tug on my lips during application. It had sheer to semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation that lasted for three hours and felt lightly moisturizing over time.

These look very pretty and comfortable to wear. They remind me of my Almay Tint Oil-in-Sticks which I absolutely love.
I’m so intrigued by this product! Lilac and Tahiti are on my buy list.
Honey looks fabulous! It’s like a semi-transluscent nude that would be easy to wear these days. Interesting antidote; I literally almost bought Revlon Toasting Glasses the other day while in Fry’s.
I also love both of the other shades reviewed above. Particularly Papaya. But these could both go very wrong under a mask, whereas Honey blends more seamlessly with many skintones.
I actually snagged Honey just before I saw this post. BB has an amazing gift with purchase deal right now, so I caved. Can’t wait to get it– color looks right on par with stuff I love.
Also, how do I join the Discord server?
I like the Papaya shade the best and these would be quite easy to wear under a mask (which we are all still doing!).
Love love love these! Papaya and lilac look GREAT on you!
