The formula is described as a “luxurious powder blush” with “silky smooth application” that yields a “radiant glow” and a “delicate flush of color.” The latter seems to suggest a sheerer formulation. This shade had a stiffer texture that was harder to get color payoff out of, so even though sheer coverage is intended, it was hard to just get that onto a brush–I really had to jab at the surface to get enough product for even that. It could also blend better, as it takes some extra time and maneuvering to really diffuse the edges. I wish the texture was nicer, because the finish is more of a natural matte–not dry or flat but not shimmery. This shade wore well for seven hours on me.

Despite the C rating, I love the look of this blush…just seeing the first photo of it put a smile on my face.
Aw! 🙂 They are pretty look at all… as most baked blushes are, lol!
Pretty color, well named, too bad it’s so hard 🙁
I know 🙁 So sad!
Gosh what a pretty shade! Kinda tempted to ignore the C rating.
It is a pretty color!
Me too!
Loving the color.
It is a nice shade – if only it performed better!
Even though this one sounds like a total PITA to get the product on ones brush and it only earned a C, it is really such a beautiful shade of pink! It looks lovely on, sooo very tempting…..
Hopefully another brand will dupe it!
Again a pretty shade but the texture seems to be a fail. 🙁
Too bad about the hardness and the slight texture blending issues but other than that I like the color.
I had high hopes for this as I love Black Opal but the formula sounds a little tricky. I may still try it though because it’s such a pretty pink
What’s the difference b/t the first pair and second pair of swatches? Is one wet and one dry?
Hey Erica,
I am only seeing one swatch photo, which is one pair, but I am not seeing two pairs??
Oh? For some reason I’m seeing 3 pictures of the blush that are increasing in close-ups, the back with the ingredients, swatches, your face demo, the back again, swatches, and then you again.
Hmm, that is weird! There should be six photos in total!
Now, I only see 6 photos. I don’t know what was going to earlier, sorry T_T.
But I was wondering if you found the texture easier to work with applying it wet or if it’s still hard to pickup on a brush?
It was probably a page cache or image cache issue 🙁 Sometimes the images get wonky, and I have nooo idea why!
I didn’t try it wet, but I don’t usually have good luck with powder blushes wet (they usually go on unevenly) – I definitely think you’d get better payoff, though.
