Bite Beauty Braised & Supreme Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Braised
Bite Beauty Braised Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a bold, reddish plum with subtle, warm undertones and a cream finish. It was nearly opaque in pigmentation with a very smooth, lightweight consistency that spread evenly across the lips and was very comfortable to wear. The texture was lightly tacky but never heavy or goopy, and it seemed to sit better on the lips than other shades as well. The color stayed on for almost six hours and was moisturizing over time.

The Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick is supposed to be "moisture-rich, high-pigment" in a "liquified" consistency that has a "creamy, comfortable application." It's a lightweight, fluid consistency that was neither runny nor thick on the lips. It does not dry down and feels mostly like a liquid-form of a lipstick (and not so much like a gloss). The majority of the range was incredibly pigmented and spread evenly across the lips. Some shades had a bit of color that sat in my lip lines, which was noticeable from a normal viewing distance with a few but not all. It had a lightly tacky feel on the lips, which helped to adhere as none of the shades I have tested have feathered on me. The formula was lightly hydrating, wore for four to seven hours, and had a light, herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste.
If you've been following Bite for awhile, you might remember the Cashmere Lip Creams from a few years ago, which were also a liquid formula. Unfortunately, I had a couple leak on me and ended up tossing all of them out of fear, so I couldn't do a true comparison, but from my memory, it was slightly thicker and less tacky while both had a more natural shine after initial application.

Supreme
Bite Beauty Supreme Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.25 fl. oz.) is a rich berry with cool undertones and a cream finish. It had good color coverage–just shy of full coverage as I could see a hint of my lip freckle peeking through–that covered the lips evenly and smoothly. The liquid lipstick was smooth, lightweight, not too thin or too thick, and easy to work with on the lips. There was a smidgen of color that pulled into my deeper lip lines, but between the color and the opacity, it was not noticeable from a normal viewing distance. The color lasted for six hours and left a stain behind, while the formula was hydrating.

The CT looks amazing with each of these. Wouldn’t have thought so…would have thought the blush would have been more overtly pink, not looking so fab with berries/plums. You look drop dead gorgeous! There are great shades in this formula.
Thank you, KJH!
Wow, these colors are stunning!
They are!
Both lovely shades of lip color, and yet also fairly well repped in my bunch of lipsticks, it would appear to be yet again.
Thank goodness you’re covered!
These liquid lipsticks look beautiful. And they are at a great price too.
I totally agree on both counts!
These are all so good, I have no idea how I’m going to narrow down my wishlist.
Supreme is a beautiful shade of pink! I love it!
Is the formula of the Bite Beauty Liquified Lipsticks similar to the Nars Velvet Lip Glide?
Not at all!
Thank you so much. ?
Love your blog and your reviews and swatches. Never buy anything before take a look on Temptalia first. ??
Hi Christine can you review some additional colors bite beauty has launched in this line. They don’t seem to be on the bite beauty website only sephora. They are the colors “Pare”, “Chiffonade”, “Chai”, and “Stir”. Thanks!
I’m still waiting for my order to arrive (and it will take me time to photo/edit/swatch!) please be patient, thank you!
