Best Products of the Week | Vol. 318
Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I did a pretty look using BH Cosmetics Passion in Paris and Terra Moons Star Sign: https://www.instagram.com/p/CVk0fKvrm2j/?utm_medium=copy_link
And also this look: https://www.instagram.com/p/CViOvYiL-1T/?utm_medium=copy_link
What was the hero product of the week for you?: The Terra Moons Fall Equinox singles I purchased.
Any products you want to use next week?: My Juvia’s Place Nomad palette and Beauty Bay Opulence palette.
Your eye looks are simply stunning Celesta, especially the the green one (my favourite eye colour).
Your skin tone/coloring: Very pale with neutral undertones. I have grey hair and dark brown eyes.
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: I did a very basic look with single shadows and SSS from Colourpop. I used some shades that are gone now from SSS. I used Underground over the mobile lid and just above the crease. I used a neutral beige/grey shadow to deepen the crease. The shade was actually an eyeliner from Clinique that is meant to be applied with liquid but I just use a crease brush and blend it. I have been using this liner for over 30 years and have actually never used it as a liner!! When I was younger I was really heavy handed with it and it would be almost black by the time I had layered it up. I don’t know the name of it as the label has worn off. It is crazy because I can remember the day I purchased it. I was shopping at Macy’s in Meadowood Mall in Reno, Nevada!! Can’t remember the name. I used Dior 99 blush and Urban Decay lipstick in Catfight. All oldies but goodies!
What was the hero product of the week for you?:
I don’t know that any were hero products but I certainly enjoyed using all the old products from my stash.
Any products you want to use next week?: I have an older Chanel palette called Tisse Venitian which I have not used in forever and plan to use that next week.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: Hmmm – I used the On the Horizons Palette, with Heart Dog over the lid, Magellan’s Light on the lower mobile lid, a smidgeon of Phoenix Awakes on the lower lash line, with Calming Presence the pop of blue in the middle of the lower lid. I paired it with EA’s Bronze lipstick.
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Hard to say, but On The Horizons palette and Maybelline’s Burgundy Bar.
Any products you want to use next week?: Stila In the Garden.
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20
What was your favorite makeup look you wore this past week?: A look I did with Pat McGrath Celestial Divinity quad or one using Natasha Denona midi Retro
What was the hero product of the week for you?: Bare Minerals Mineral Veil or Revlon Candid Concealer
Any products you want to use next week?: Charlotte Tilbury Rock Chick quad or Sigma Enchanted palette
