Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes, dark hair).
Look you loved this week?: The eye look I did yesterday to go in for my Remicade infusion was BOMB!
Eyes: Used CP Ur A QT for my mattes, 1st Date transition, Heart Eyes in the crease and outer V, then Nars Callisto on inner lids, tear ducts, inner lower lashline, MAC Magic In Your Eyes mid-lid and lower lashline, MAC Fathoms Deep outer lid blended up into outer V and to smudge out black pencil on lower outer lashline. KVD Tattoo liner for upper lashline wing, L’Oreal Lash Paradise WP mascara.
Cheeks: UD Jawbone bronzer and CP Parallel SS Cheeks.
Lips: Ciaté Pin-up liquid lipstick
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Nars Callisto, MAC Magic In Your Eyes and Fathoms Deep! I had seriously forgotten just how gorgeous they look together.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Sephora Endless Purple Cream Lip Stain with a multitude of autumnal eye looks that have golden bronze, copper, red and plum in them. I really needed at least one deeper, vampy fall liquid matte lipstick shade in my repertoire!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name.
Look you loved this week?: I actually wore makeup one day this week! I didn’t go anywhere because of COVID quarantine but felt like playing around a little. I dug out an older NARS palette, the Erdem e/s palette. It has six shades and I used all but one. I used the cream matte under the browbone and in the tearduct area. I used the matte brown in the crease and brought it up a little in a small wing area just to lift my eye shape a little. I used the two shimmer shades over the lid and the burgundy shade in the outer quadrant to add some interest in that area. For my base I used Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra foundation and Lancome Effacernes concealer and my blush was MAC Ambering Rose and for lips I used YSL Prune. I liked how the look turned out. My skin has been in better condition before so I am not happy with the quality of my skin. I think stress, failing skin care commitment and not eating properly have all contributed to my skin being dull and lackluster. I need to get back on the band wagon.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I remember not being blown away by the Nars Erdem palette when I bought and first used it but I found that I enjoyed using it this time and the combination of shades works well for fall. I was pleasantly surprised by it.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Nothing in particular.
Your skin tone/coloring: pale, cool
Look you loved this week?: nothing too exciting. I worked Friday for the first time since the lockdown in March and as my eyes would be the only thing “on display”, I used UDPP and Nars Kalahari – the left side – all over the lid and buffed up and out into the crease. Sephora Cappuccino liner with Marc Jacobs skinny liner in Blacquer on my upper inner rims. I did wear a tinted lip balm (Kiehl’s) and MAC Sweet Sentiment blush (mostly for my own sake). I didn’t want anything overpowering for an eye look and it was just right – polished looking but not “makeup”
Any new or old favorites discovered?: the Smashbox Smokey palette. That thing is such a treasure.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Tarina Tarantino Emerald Pretty e/s palette and Nars’s Suede Voyageur palette. Also Farsali’s Glass Skin serum – I’ve not use it in ages (mostly, I sort of forgot about it) but it will be a nice “lift”.
Your skin tone/coloring: Light with red
Look you loved this week?: I did an eye look using neon orange and Sydney Grace Orange Slush paired with Fenty Chili Mango blush that I totally loved!
Any new or old favorites discovered? PML Gold Standard -unfortunately it fades very fast on me 🙁
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m hoping to use my new Touch in Sol sparkling pigments!
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I actually really loved two looks I did this week:
Monday with the BH Cosmetics Blueberry Muffin palette – https://www.instagram.com/p/CF9rMtjB8d9/?igshid=1r53s73t2ruke
Thursday with Celestial Divinity – https://www.instagram.com/p/CGFbnaLhkdd/?igshid=q1c6dv0slikl
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The two above palettes are absolute gems.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Just playing with all my new goodies!
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Look you loved this week?: An orange and brown eye look with blue-brown duochrome on the lids using the Musee Beauty Impressionism Palette, with Tarte Pampered on my cheeks, and e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick in Orange Dream. UD Primer Potion in Enigma, as it works better than TFSI with the Musee matte formula.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: New — 1) Musee Beauty Impressionism Palette. The mattes blend and layer beautifully, and the shimmers are nice. 2) Baby Bat Beauty pressed multichrome shadow in Amulet. Stunning! 3)TheBalm Put a Lid On It Eyelid Primer. I don’t know why it took me so long to try it, but I’d put it up there with UDPP and TFSI. Old — e.l.f. Orange Dream lipstick. I’m not sure whether they still sell this color, but it’s so perfect, and actually makes my teeth appear less yellow (I have transparent enamel, so my teeth show the yellow dentin layer underneath).
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Anything. I only got to wear makeup twice this week because of smoke allergies making my eyes water and giving migraines. We’re finally getting fall weather, and I’m Jonesing to use my jewel toned palettes especially.
Look you loved this week?: A one-and-done eyeshadow look using the Super Shock in “Honor Roll” all over the lid, Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions for mascara, and ABH Brow Wiz. For the face, Benefit Hoola, Pixi’s Fresh Face Blush in “Peach Parfait”, and Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter in “Churro”. On the lips is just the Fenty Gloss Bomb in “Fu$$y”
Any new or old favorites discovered?: There’s a learning curve in using the Super Shock Shadow in “Honor Roll” but I’ve finally figured out how best to use it and am really loving it now
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I have a few darker shades of the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick that I’m hoping to break out for the fall
