Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes).

Look you loved this week?: I FINALLY wore a full makeup look this Tuesday to my Remicade infusion!
Eyes: All Sugarpill C1 Capsule Palette for e/s. Glory transition, Undone crease and lower lashline, Slow Dive outer V, outer lower lashline and to add more definition to outer crease, Dream State mid lid halo, Cloud 9 inner lid, Supernova tear ducts and inner lashline. My usual Smashbox Fishnet Always On Eye Pencil to tightline, MAC Blacktrack Fluidline winged liner and Maybelline Full & Soft waterproof mascara.
Cheeks: because I had to wear a face mask I only used ColourPop Drop Of A Hat SS Cheeks with a little bit of ABH x Amrezy highlighter.
Lips: I must have tried on at least five different lipsticks before I settled on wearing MAC Mehr! Well blotted at that. And it still got all over my mask! ?

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I really love how creative I can get with Sugarpill C1 Capsule Palette!

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Hopefully, my packages from MAC and Macy’s will arrive sometime next week (or the week after) and I’ll get to do some Selena makeup. It’ll be fun to do an all MAC x Selena eye look using all those e/s’s I bought from the 1st round with these new lip products and highlighter!

Skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair

Look you loved this week: I did this look for a Zoom happy hour last night. I used two Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks: Moonlight on the lid, and Violet in the crease and lower lash line. Then Cover Girl Clump Crusher mascara and Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil. On my face: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancome Effacernes Concealer, Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder, and NARS Orgasm Blush. Also a bit of Laura Mercier Baked Bronzer 02. On my lips I used MAC Soar lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered: Not really.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week? Doing weekly happy hour Zooms with friends gives me a reason to do a full face of makeup, so I’m just going to play it by ear and see what I’m in the mood for next Friday.

Your skin tone/coloring: light/medium, neutral undertone

Look you loved this week?: I didn’t wear any makeup this week with the exception of a small amount of foundation to even out my skin tone and doing my eyebrows.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Kevyn Aucoin Foundation Balm

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m going to rotate my products to all cream next week and use all rms beauty products: un “cover-up”, buriti bronzer, lip2cheek, and living luminizer.

Foundation balm sounds interesting. What shade of the Aucoin balm and you wearing. I find the line a bit difficult with colour description and shade choices. Thanks!

Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium with yellow undertones, MAC NC 23ish, hazel eyes, brownish hair

Look you loved this week?:
eyes: Chanel Elements quad, Laura Mercier Intense Amethyst
cheeks: MAC Grand as a base blush then topped with a mixture of Tom Ford Flush and Frantic pink blushes, Fenty Shady Biz bronzer, Laura Mercier Glow (loose translucent powder) as highlight
lips: MAC See Sheer, Skew mixed

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I’ve been using MAC See Sheer again and forgot how good it is.
Craving, See Sheer, Jubilee and Creme in Your Coffee were my workhorse go-tos. As for new favorites, Fenty bronzer packaging and formula for the win! I’m glad I decided to try it. Also Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks and Loose Setting Powders Translucent and Glow. I am late to the party on how good Laura Mercier’s base products are! I love the powders and the caviar sticks are great for one and done.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Fenty Private Island bronzer, using more of the Laura Mercier Glow powder and working my way through Tom Ford quads. I’ve got some TF lip soleil lip lacquer coming, so looking forward to that also. Everyday is turning out to be a makeup adventure – today was a good one but some end up getting away from me!

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool, greying hair with purple streaks
Look you loved this week?: I wore IT CC cream for the first time in ages and ended up with it all over the inside of my mask! Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer on my cheeks and dusted a bit all over, Smashbox Legendary on lips, Clarins Ombre Matte eyeshadow in Taupe with GOSH Ink Black pencil liner. I don’t often wear black liner and it’s an oldie; sadly, GOSH is no longer available at Shoppers Drug Mart
Any new or old favorites discovered?: MAC Tempting eyeshadow. I wore it today for the first time in a long time, my favourite way which is overtop UD’s Sin tinted Primer Potion (do they even make that one any more?) – it just brings out the potential beauty in Tempting which is a Lustre so tends to need a bit of help.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: rms beauty Buriti Bronzer. I hope that as I get more adept at using it or get the top layer worn away, I will find it a happier experience!

Your skin tone/coloring: Pale/yellow, dark hair, blue eyes
Look you loved this week?: Just wearing makeup has been a pleasure, so they’ve all been good. All three looks!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I found 2 lipsticks that I thought I’d lost in my move, one of which (Soap & Glory Naked Talent) appears to be discontinued. The other was a Milani Color Statement lipstick, and I realized when I tried it on how plump and pretty that formula makes my lips look.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Essence Cosmolighter paired with pink blush and glossy pink lips is a look I have in mind.

Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Look you loved this week?: I did a springy-sultry look using a mix of all my Natasha Denona Mini palettes, creating a general rosy, glowy eye; then I broke out my Pixi Multibalm in Sheer Strawberry and layered the ND Mini Bloom Highlighting Blush over it for a juicy cheek; for my lips, I used the L’Oréal Colour Riche Shine lipstick in Lacquered Strawberry. It was so fresh and I felt sexy and pretty in it.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: I truly love the Mini Retro palette. It’s perfect and I want to reach for it constantly. Also, the Mini Bloom Blush is just lovely. I love how springy it instantly turns my makeup.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: More Mini Retro and Mini Bloom and also my Nabla palettes and Metropolis palette.

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Look you loved this week?: I am still continuing my little challenge of using a palette a day and it’s becoming quite interesting to see how I can co-ordinate what I am wearing to the palettes I have yet to use in my collection.
One of the looks that I particulary liked involved L’Oreal’s Metallics – I used the Rose Gold shade on the lid and the Bronze on the lower lid, with a soft dark cocoa shade from Flower Beauty in the crease. I paired it with EA’s Perfect Bronze lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Well yes I am – I’ve used Lancome’s Sparkling Intoxication – beautiful teal shade in that one. I’ve quite a few more to go.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Nest week I think I will be using the Pixi Beauty Reflex Light palette, Guerlain’s Les Verts (to go with my new khaki green top) and possibly, the original Rebel by CT.

Your skin tone/coloring:light, MAC NC 20

Look you loved this week?: Loved using Chanel Noir Supreme!

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Picked up my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. Haven’t used bronzer in awhile. Still blends like a dream and so seamlessly

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Products I’m trying use up. A blacker kohl pencil from MUFE. UD Vice kohl pencil. Revlon Peachy Kiss Balm. And I’d like to give my Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier eye crayons some love!!
