Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name (blue-green eyes).

Look you loved this week?: What I have on right now! Almost all PMG on my face, LOL.
Eyes: PMG Dark Galaxy, plus 2 shades from CP UR A QT Palette. Deets to follow later.
Cheeks: Nyx Taupe, Essence Satin Love, Marc Jacobs Jet Girl Luminizer.
Lips: Nyx Coffee SLP, PMG She’s Heaven Luxetrance Lipstick, PMG Dreamscape OpuLUST Gloss.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: PMG Dreamscape OpuLUST Gloss! Bought it last night. It looks so good over She’s Heaven Luxetrance Lipstick!

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: After a VERY purple-centric week, I’m looking forward to digging into some of my older neutral palettes and vampy lipsticks.

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name.

Look you loved this week?: I didn’t put makeup on even one time this week. I spent the past week at my daughter’s and came home sick. Granted, I was sick before I went as I picked up some bug while up in Kalispell for the holidays and just when I think I am feeling better it comes back again. My doctor is booked solid until the second week in March so I am just waiting it out. I sent my brother to town to pick me up an anti-viral but it has been wreaking havoc for so long that I doubt at this point it will help at all. I just need to get my immune system built back up. This is what happens when you aren’t exposed to anything and then you go somewhere that has a lot of people with bugs and you get it. I never was sick while working at the hospital because I was exposed so much. If I had been anywhere that I could be exposed to the virus I would be worried.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: No and sadly, a couple of days, I didn’t even do skin care so my skin is looking rather dull and dried up so I have to be better about it but seriously, other than sitting on the couch watching impeachment/fall out I have done anything.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? If I am feeling better I really want to play with some very not-winter eye shadow shades. I am looking for some brightness in my life!

Feel better fast. IKExactlyWYM. When you move and/or are exposed to a new population, it can raise havoc. On the Eastern Shore with the 3-5 set, I got ringworm on my face and had no idea what it was. I thought only boys got it, only on their scalps. But, hey, I thought cockroaches only lived below the Mason-Dixon Line. Duh. The absolute worst is handling money. If anybody has not yet seen the germs on bread experiment, google it. You’ll never see your electronics in the same way again. Do your hydration and take the standard immune boosters. And rest, rest, rest.

Thanks kjh. I remember reading an article about money and how dirty it is. I also remember that they said that 98% of all money had drug residue on it when tested.
I am not a big proponent of using anti-bacterial gels as I feel like they are not good for the immune system so I don’t use them often but while I was with my daughter I did use the wipes whenever I was out. It really is just related to my living in the woods in Montana and not being exposed. I feel so sorry for the people in Wutan and how horrible the Chinese government has botched the whole incident. A lot of people are going to die because of their cover up. I am still hopeful that it can be contained in the US. The Doctor’s are of differing opinions but at this point just about everything that can be done is being done.
I worked with an epidemiologist in CA and many years ago he told me that it wasn’t a matter of if it would happen but when and he told me that he felt the CDC was woefully unprepared to handle a large scale pandemic. All one can do is be vigilant. I am trying to force myself to take more fluids today but still not feeling great. I am sure I will survive, LOL!

Deborah, I hope you feel better soon. I worked at the Cancer Centre in Calgary for 25 years, very rarely sick. Now I go to the grocery store and come home with a cold.

Thank you, Brenda. It is one of the few hidden perks of healthcare work! I worked on an Oncology unit back in the late 70’s and always told my mom that if cancer had a hidden virus trigger I was going to be safe from it but sadly, I stopped working there and then had breast cancer about 25 years later. On May 4th I will be 20 years cancer free. I am trying to figure out if I want to have a party or whether I think that will jinx me, LOL!

A conundrum Deborah, my girlfriend had breast cancer and was cancer free for years then presented with brain cancer. But I don’t know what her circumstances were. Many others have beat it and are living cancer free forever. I would go ahead and celebrate, life is short enough we need to celebrate every big and little thing!

It is a conundrum since I don’t normally place any validity in things like karma, fate, whatever but while I was going through treatment I grasped at anything that felt like a sign of how things were going to go. When I was diagnosed my daughter was 5 years old and I told my oncologist that I needed him to keep me alive until she finished high school. When she graduated I told him I would like to live through her college years. That milestone passed and I told him I would like to see my grandchildren. He jokes with me that I keep moving the goal post. I have had several acquaintances who have had it return sometimes within months and others after years. My oncologist told me that I would likely die of breast cancer but he couldn’t tell me when that would be. He said they don’t know what triggers the metastasis to start growing. Way back in my early nursing career, we believed that if your lymph nodes were negative then there was no way you would have mets. They know that isn’t true now and they also know that it metastasizes very, very early. Those little cancer cells are sitting out there like little time bombs waiting to explode. I had a good friend who had a very aggressive form of kidney cancer. She was diagnosed and treated when she was 18 and the Doctor’s did not give her 18 months to live. She is in her sixties and accidentally tripped stepping off a curb. She broke a rib. Weeks and weeks later she was still having severe pain and so they started looking to see if the rib wasn’t healing or what was causing the pain. They found a tumor in her liver and when they biopsied it, it turned out to be the same cancer she had when she was 18, so you never know when it will raise its ugly head. I am thankful for every one of the days I have had and the chance to live and see my daughter grow up is truly priceless. I think you are right, I should throw a party and let the cancer be damned.

Deborah, I like to hear these stories, I find them very interesting. My sister in law was just diagnosed with breast ca, not in the lymph nodes, very early diagnosis, they removed the lump, she completed 6 wks chemo and is doing great. She is a nurse and her surgeon keeps her check ups at 3 months. She thinks it is excessive, but I think good for him to keep on top of it. My mom was diagnosed the first of September with Stage 2 lung and we were not told about the second primary, colon cancer, she only lasted 2 months. We were fortunate to be able to say our good byes and have all her arrangements in order for her. That’s why I think we need to celebrate because we never know what tomorrow will bring us. I’m so glad your journey has been extended, there must be a reason!

I hope you start to feel better this week Deborah.
I was a primary school teacher for 40 years and was so immune to the various flu bugs that came around, even though some my classrooms during outbreaks resembled a hospital triage centre, full of semi sick kids. I still generally catch one or two colds per year.
But with the smoke haze from the bushfires, it has seriously triggered hayfever, asthma and eye issues for many in recent weeks. Added to that the concerns over the current virus problems….
I don’t like using those anti bacterial gels either because I think they affect your immune system negatively.
Take care Deborah.

Get well soon! I feel you. Ever since Brandon started working in breakfast/banquets at the hotel, he’s brought home several nasty bugs. He’s sick right now, in fact, and I’m hoping the rest of us don’t catch it. So far, so good.

Skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair

Look you loved this week: EYES: Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks (Au Natural on lid, Burnished Bronze on crease and bottom lash line), ColourPop Precision Brow Colour in Cool Cocoa, Rimmel Retro Glam Mascara. // FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Concealer, RCMA No Color Powder, Hourglass Mood Exposure blush. // LIPS: Started with PMG Madame Greige, but halfway through the day I switched to the backup that I always carry with me: Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick. PMG lipsticks are just too drying for me.

Any new or old favorites discovered? I rediscovered Clinique Dramatically Different Lipstick in Canoodle last week and have been wearing it almost every day since. Although I’ve had it for awhile, it’s definitely a new favorite. And I love the vintage-looking packaging, too.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week? CP Flutter By palette

Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.

Look you loved this week?: I used my ND mini nude palette, just the medium brown in my crease and the dark brown as sort of a smoky winged out liner. I used my Em Cosmetics Serum Blush in Soft Amethyst and my CT Hollywood Light Wand as a highlight and Perricone MD No Makeup Lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Still using and loving what I have, though, I have used my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Ghost Unlocked Palette more.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I had a very paired down collection during my week at Disney, so I’m excited to dive back into my collection again and have some variety back.

I felt the same way when I returned from my big trip last year. I just took along a few eye palettes and was excited to return (not to the housework, laundry and cooking though!) to revisit my other palettes and lipsticks.

Your skin tone/coloring: light/medium, neutral
Look you loved this week?: Natural
Any new or old favorites discovered?: rms beauty “un” cover-up (original, not the new cream foundation)
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Physicians Formula Organic Wear Dewy Blush Elixir in the shade Gorgeous Peach

I have just checked out the Physicians Formula Organic line and it looks amazing. Particularly the lipsticks. We don’t see any of this in Australia.
The blush shade Gorgeous Peach looks stunning.

Your skin tone/coloring: fair/light
Look you loved this week?: the eyeshadow look I did today using my Colourpop “Is This Real Life?” Supershock Shadow Vault. I love CPs SuperShock shadows and the vault is one of my most prized beauty possessions
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I just got my February 2020 Look Fantastic Beauty Box and it came with Naobay Gentle Toner and it is heavenly! It leaves my skin so hydrated and soft. I’m also loving the CLE Multi Cream, Luci Metalit and IBY City Limits Eyeshadow Palette I got in my January 2020 The Box By Fashionsta.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: my Jeffree Star Valentines Mystery Box is arriving Monday and I got the Premium box. I know I’m getting the Alien Eyeshadow Palette and the exclusive lip gloss in Succulent in my box and I’m insanely excited to try both out! My Ipsy GB and GBP are arriving this week too so I cant wait to try all of the products in them out

I have never heard of this brand IBY before and I just looked them up. My word, what a gorgeous eye palette you have received! Those are beautiful shades. I think I am going to seriously investigate this brand. Have fun playing with your new products Tiffany.

Skintone Medium with olive undertones. I weir extralegal beige shade of foundation.

I received a Colourpop order this week and especially liked wearing Moonwalk Supershock shadow with Bare Minerals Hint and Marc Jacobs Infamous.

New discoveries were Colourpop lip scrub. Felt really moisturising.

Want to complexly finish my Stily Bubbly eyeshadow this week and keep panning my ABH Weekend Barbie lipgloss.

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Look you loved this week?: Naked 2 – Verve on the whole lid, with YDK on the lower lid and Pistol in the crease for a neutral look. I paired it with CP’s Gallop lipstick.

Any new or old favorites discovered?: Still using Naked 2 and adding different pops of colour from Lorac Pro Metal and bareMinerals the Playlist.
I pulled out Chanel’s Tisse D’ Automne palette too this week for a gold and olive eye look. Love that too.

Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: No idea – it so depends on the weather, what I am wearing and so on.
