This formula is supposed to have “just the right balance of color and light” that can be worn alone or “as a blush topper.” It seemed like it is supposed to be somewhere between sheerer like a highlighter and more pigmented like a blush (hence why it can also be layered), which is the best I can surmise from their marketing (there’s a lot of use of subtle as well, which at least indicates, to me, that they’re not saying it’s ultra pigmented). I noticed that layering is best with a very, very light hand and a feathery brush or else the original blush can get overshadowed, as the formula runs semi-opaque. Much like the Shimmering Skin Perfectors, a little can go a long way. Snapdragon had semi-sheer to semi-opaque color payoff (the first time, it applied more semi-sheer, the second time more semi-opaque) that is buildable to mostly opaque coverage with two to three layers. The texture was soft, smooth, and finely-milled and was less shimmery than Tigerlily. It was easy to blend and apply to the skin, and the finish didn’t emphasize pores but still gave the skin a noticeable glow. The blush wore well for eight and a half hours on me.

This color is so pretty! I love the idea of combining the Shimmering Skin Perfectors with blush. BUT… yesterday I picked up the Tarina Tarantino Dollskin quad from Hautelook AND the UD Gwen Stefani blush palette from Sephora (come on, I can’t resist sale on sale!) and that’s 10 blush/highlighters in one day so… now I wait, haha! I am going to try my best to hold out until the holidays because my highest hope is that there will be a luminous blush holiday palette similar to Champagne Glow or Afterglow, and if not, at least I can count on 20% off.

This blush looks so pretty! I’m torn between this and Tigerlily because I already have loads of pink blushes but am apprehensive about shelling out the bucks for a colour (orange) that I’m unfamiliar with.

Will you be reviewing the rest of the shades for this blush as well?

Really pretty! These are so summery feeling. Now, if summer would come to me that would be nice. We had snow last night! I have a couple of the dupes on this shade. I think I’m going to see how the others look before I commit on this one.

I was ready to pounce on this one, but glad I waited. It’s a pretty color, but I already have IT Pretty In Peony, and it’s close enough. Saving my $$ for Foxglove and Dahlia, hoping those are colors unique to my stash. Or maybe hoping Becca will do a kit with a mix of the new colors !

I like this a lot but I already have theBalm’s FratBoy as a possible dupe although that’s not shimmery and is less coral. I could try experimenting with highlighters over the top. I think I fell more in love with Tigerlily than this though. I love these flowery names!

Surprised you said, estee lauders wild sunset had more noticeable shimmer. I recently picked Wild Sunset up, and whereas Snapdragon looks pretty sparkly, Wild Sunset seems to have the slightest almost non-existent golden sheen, I mean the shimmer is only noticeable when swatched but when blended it pretty much disappeared. But these all look stunning I do want to buy all of these now. The warmer colors look really nice on your skintone as well.

You have a beautiful face! Love the color and thank you for the reviews! I can’t buy anything without checking at your reviews first! Huge help ?
