Phytosurgence Swelter Skin Spark Blush Balm ($17.07 for 0.14 oz.) is a rich, reddish-coral with subtle, warm undertones and a natural finish. It was richly pigmented to the point where one needed the smallest amount to achieve medium coverage, which was easily sheered out and diffused along the edges for a seamless layer of color on cheeks.
The texture was lightweight, creamy, and emollient without being too slippery, so I didn't have any trouble applying it with fingertips or a brush, whether over bare skin or on top of base products. The cream blush dried down to a more powder-like and transfer-resistant feel after a minute or so, and I'd recommend working one cheek at a time. I felt like I had enough working time (without being rushed) to apply and blend out. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.
