Becca Prosecco Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector (Liquid, Poured Creme, Pressed) Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Prosecco Pop
Becca Prosecco Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed ($38.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a medium, yellow gold with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The consistency was slightly looser and drier compared to other shades in the range, though on the skin, I did not notice any dryness nor did I have any problems blending out the highlighter. It emphasized my skin’s natural texture if I wore it at semi-opaque coverage or greater. It had good color coverage that applied evenly to the skin and diffused nicely. The highlighter started to fade on me after eight hours of wear.

Formula Overview
$38.00/0.25 oz. - $152.00 Per Ounce
The Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed formula is described as having an "ultra-reflective shine" with a "creamy" texture that "applies seamlessly." In general, the texture of the highlighters is incredibly smooth, silky, and finely-milled with frosted to metallic finishes and the occasional more sparkly finish.
They tend to have a high-shine, more metallic finish and are a stronger highlighter, so they are going to be best suited to someone who likes an obvious highlight over a very subtle one. That being said, with a fan brush and a deft hand, one could certainly achieve a subtler, all-over luminosity as well, but if one takes a typical, tapered highlighting brush, there will be quite a bit of pigment and highlight on the skin.
I find that some shades can emphasize the look of pores slightly to moderately, depending on application. They tend to last between eight to nine hours on me.

Prosecco Pop
Becca Prosecco Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid ($41.00 for 1.70 fl. oz.) is medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a pearly finish. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage (up to semi-opaque) with fine, but noticeable, pearl. The Liquid formulation is typically the sheerest of the highlighting formulas, but I found that Prosecco Pop had more pigmentation and a stronger sheen compared to previously released shades. The product had a more gel-like texture that didn’t feel watery or drip along the skin (I pumped the product onto the back of my hand, and it stayed in place). It was easily blended out as a sheer highlight on cheek bones or mixed with base products. On its own, it lasted seven and a half hours on me.

Prosecco Pop
Becca Prosecco Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Creme ($38.00 for 0.19 oz.) is a medium, yellow gold with warm undertones and a fine, pearl finish. It had larger pearl compared to the Liquid, but the two were very similar applied for me. The Poured Creme had a dewier finish overall, though. The texture was smooth, emollient without being too thin or slippery, and blendable on bare skin, over liquid foundation, or on top of powder. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage that was as easily sheered out as it was built-up to mostly opaque coverage. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading.

I got Prosecco Pop in one of the blush/highlighter splits, really love the color and quality. Glad they made it permanent
Me too!
The liquid version is very nice looking, and I could see it being quite versatile. If I were to buy it, I’d be using it as a mixer with foundation or BB/CC cream. However, I’m leaning much more toward either Marc Jacobs Dew You or the rosey-gold Butterfly Beach dupe in CoverFX. those being less yellow-gold may give my face a more healthy look.
A mixer would make the most sense, since there is quite a bit of it!
They are such masters at the liquid ones. I love it. I think it’s too dark and warm for me but Jesus, it’s so beautiful.
Becca did a great job with these!
They are all nice, I’d use the pressed as an eyeshadow, though as it would be too warm as a highlighter, I think. I like the liquid best out of the three, when it comes to colour and the rather understated glow.
I liked the liquid a lot, too!
I like the shade of these!! I love super warm yellowy highlights!!
Happy to hear it!
very pretty. I was torn between this and Champagne Gold, and picked Champagne Gold instead and I love it
Champagne Gold is a good pick 🙂
Awesome! I’ve been hoping Becca would bring a more yellow gold shade of highlighter to their range. I’ve swatched their highlighters in store and always liked the texture and effect yet none of the colors have ever been something I could really see myself reaching for (Topaz is a little too dark), but this looks perfect. Here’s hoping they create a mini set version of this too!
Fingers crossed these will be the right gold for you!
While I imagine that the pressed version might better suit my skin, I love the slight dewiness that the Poured Creme variation gives.
Just dewy enough! 🙂
Hiya Christine,
Just out of curiosity do u know whether champagne pop is discontinued as it is no longer on the becca site. Also are you aware why Jacklyn isn’t given recognition for prosecco pop? Thanks a lot for ur time and love ur blog. X
I haven’t heard anything about it being discontinued! I would assume that Becca built into their contract the ability to bring back/do what they wanted with the product after a certain point.
I am so tempted to get this! I already have Becca Topaz but it’s darker and less yellow. Wondering whether I could use D410 from MUFE…. it’s not that great as an eyeshadow but I am wondering whether I could use that as a dupe for this highlighter….
You could try it, since you have it 😉 I’d say that D410 is going to have a lot more sparkle and may take a little more finessing as a cheek product but may certainly be close enough for your liking!
Tried it – looked WAY too glittery, even with some work. I’ve had some success in using some of the lighter MUFE shadows as cheek highlighters… but I guess I’ll have to keep this tucked away somewhere. Adding Prosecco Pop to the shopping list now – but hey, I tried to be creative – haha!
