This formula is supposed to have “just the right balance of color and light” that can be worn alone or “as a blush topper.” It seemed like it is supposed to be somewhere between sheerer like a highlighter and more pigmented like a blush (hence why it can also be layered), which is the best I can surmise from their marketing (there’s a lot of use of subtle as well, which at least indicates, to me, that they’re not saying it’s ultra pigmented). I noticed that layering is best with a very, very light hand and a feathery brush or else the original blush can get overshadowed, as the formula runs semi-opaque. Much like the Shimmering Skin Perfectors, a little can go a long way. Blushed Copper was released before as part of their regular highlighter range and again in the Champagne Glow palette. The color is exactly the same here, but it seemed slightly less pigmented and perhaps, a little less metallic. The blush version had good color payoff with a soft, lightly dry but blendable texture that emphasized pores just slightly on me. It lasted for eight and a half hours on me.

I have the LE one so I’ll be passing on this one. ?
Yay 😀
So beautiful on you! I have a dupe for this although it’s not listed. It’s EL’s pure color blush in Brazen Bronze. It’s lighter and not so shimmery.
Thanks, Yvette! 🙂 Thank you for the heads up!
I looove that lipgloss on you! It doesn’t look like a gloss at all but more like a liquid lipstick.
Thanks a lot, Sheila!
Wow, it’s really pretty!!
It is!
I am wearing this today as a blush. It is really pretty but it is pretty strongly pigmented I am not sure I could pull this off as a highliighter and I am a NC 45 in mac. It gives a great glow on the cheeks though.
Happy to hear you’re digging it, Nicole! 🙂
Last year’s Blushed Copper is definitely one of my HG blushes! I didn’t need this one, but did pick up Tangerine and love that, too!
Awesome! 🙂
Very sparkly.
True!
Sucha gorgeous colour! I’ma always a bit wary when it comes to copper because it can be so hard to pull off! The shimmer did make me pause a little bit but hey, it looks so lovely!
It is pretty on!
It is a beautiful blush that suits your complexion Christine, although it would be too coppery for me.
Thank you, Genevieve!
Looks so beautiful on you!
really pretty but too orange/warm to be even a “maybe” for me. I do love the Dahlia one you showed yesterday, though.
….and I just looked to see what the beautiful look was that’s on your eyes and, OF COURSE, it’s the Bare Minerals palette that ISN’T available in Canada! Figures! GRRR, once again!
hello i want to ask your something the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Blushed Copper(LE) is the same product with the BECCA Luminous Blush in Blushed Copper??
thank you
Yes, I think they’re very, very similar!
thank you very much for your response!
